About Me

The basics:  5'2", curvy, brunette.  I guess this is where I'm supposed to dazzle you with how wonderful I am. Good to know there's no pressure! I'm a widow and I have three children. I'm interested in making new friends. If anything develops, well.....then it does. If not, having more friends is always a good thing. I'm pretty laid back but I'm able to get things done in short order when I need to. I'm honest (I have to be because I stutter when I lie) - plus honesty makes life so much easier and better. I'm an excellent cook, a terrible dancer and an average housekeeper. I love my kids more than anything and I would like to meet someone for whom being a parent is central to their life.

Weird sense of humor, tolerant nature.....not sure what else.

I'm curvy and half way to my weight loss goal! I like to work out but I'm not muscle bound. I like to be healthy and fit but I'm never going to be stick skinny. My family heritage is Irish so I'm on the short side and brunette. I have three tattoos....where and what? Get to know me and I'll tell you. Get to know me well enough and I'll show you :) I also have a nose piercing....just a stud, nothing big. BTW...have all the tats and piercings I want.

College Graduate

I graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington with a BA in History.

Administrative project management but currently on an extended vacation.

I worked my way through college at a forensic lab. I worked for a short time in public education and for a non-profit professional association.

My family is Irish and French....I have and older sister and a younger sister. I have three kiddos (14, 11 and 6)....I don't have any holiday horror stories but my mom has accidentally set fire to two or three of our homes. I have a pretty large extended family and they're awesome....always there for me.

Reading, knitting, cooking and hanging with my kids.

I enjoy spending time with friends doing lots of things...movies, concerts, theater, dining out and anything else that's fun :) I have lots of friends but only a few close friends. I like trying and learning about new things.

Just a nice guy.....employed, not bad-kind-of-crazy, funny, likes kids and home cooked meals, horror movies, travel.....

I love to read, horror movies, just about any kind of music. I like to visit thrift stores and antique stores to check out old/odd stuff.

I drink socially, mostly beer or mixed drinks.

I like to eat healthy most of the time but you have to splurge every now and then to enjoy life.

If they're legal and taken as prescribed, fine. If you take illegal drugs or have a pill habit, stay away.

Ummmm....I like jeans, t-shirts and Vans/flip flops for everyday. Dressing up is nice but I'm not a "dress" kind of girl.

I like to be fit and healthy but I don't get crazy with it.

Mine or yours? I'm a fan of long hot showers and hope you are too. Not a fan of grubby boys.

I love my kids and being a mom :)

I have a yappy dog and two cats.

I try to be educated and make up my own mind. I don't really fit in with any of the current parties.

If you have one that's great! If not, that's great too.

I don't smoke and prefer non-smokers.
