About Me

So what about me? Well for starters I was never one for competitive sports but rather tended towards things like camping, martial arts, hiking, kayaking, those sorts of activities. On my more geeky side the things that come out are my collecting comic books, playing MTG, warhammer 40k (still fairly new to this) , or various video games (DIABLO3 CAN'T WAIT!). Love watching movies at home or at the theater as opposed to tv with all its commercials and annoying add stuff. I've always been pretty visually attuned. Ever since i was a kid i would draw constantly and to this day I still sketch, paint, and on occasion some photography (i like black and white). Now despite the non-literary stuff I also really do enjoy reading regular books besides comics. Just finished the girl with the dragon tattoo and picked up another book (pity the billionare), before I start the girl who played with fire. I'm also reading the wheel of time series, as many friends recommended it. I also plan on reading the hunger games as well as a game of thrones eventually. Some other books i've read:

I have a very healthy love of music and really do try to appreciate just about everything out there. Be it rap, country, metal, classic rock or alternative if my ear likes it, I'm sold. My favorite band is 311 and damn the naysayers because they get me amped up! Really prefer sound quality to loudness too so take it easy on the bass there pal, this is to be enjoyed in all aspects not just decibal level, geez. HEHE.
I'm a mellow person, usually low key and not always the loud shouting person in a room. I say not always because sometimes the mood strikes me and my silly sound off button is pressed. Usually it is in playful fun. I'm all about the having fun, doing fun things (comic con, ren faire, etc.), enjoying myself where ever I go and generally the more the merrier. I'm a responsible person and been very good at saving money but also taking the time to enjoy the fruits of my labor. Always hard working. Something I can't shake and dont' want to. My insides serve me well hehe. I like the occasional drink at the bar, hanging out meeting new folks or just having a few drinks and a bite with friends. Love to travel and believe it is the journey not just the destination. So here I am online working on that journey as you read. What about yourself? Tell me about you. :)

Ideal Date: Doesn't really matter what we're doing but ideally it's just having great conversation, enjoying one anothers little quirks and usually over a good meal is always nice.Typical Weekend: Get out of work, go link up with friends, have some drinks, plan to get together further, check out a movie, catch up on some rest, check if i need to hit some stores for need or just things i want. Social Circle / Friends: My friend Jason is just the best! Easy going, always have a great time with him regardless. He brings a fresh perspective to my views every time and helps to light a new path. maybe not the right one for me but a new one regardless. My friend Kevin, very intelligent the guy who knows a lot about a lot as far as i'm concerned. Considerate and knows a lot about cars. If i got an issue he'd be the one to ask. What you do for Fun: Go to movies, carshows, comic book conventions, grab some good food, go to a bar have some drinks. Shows in the city, concerts etc. Looking for in a Relationship: Give and take. Like to be able to go out and have fun but stay in and just watch a movie. I like my personal space sometimes to just do my hobbies or play some games but love that together time to get a bite, have a conversation. Always monogamy.

Personality: Very laid back most of the time but intense when it comes to my friends and family and loved ones. Very passionate about my friends, family and principalsSense of humor: I'm quirky. If you're up on your movies i'll probably throw you a lot of one liners intertwined in the conversation. Weaknesses: Having more faith in myself. I do so well and yet the first time someone challenges me my first instinct is to back up but usually i'm correct and i just need to stick to my guns. I'm learning to be much more assertive its just hard because i'm very fair minded and being assertive doesn't go well with that lol. Life Improvement: probably work out some more but i wanna maybe take up martial arts again or do some rock climbing or something. Some sort of exercise that doesn't seem like it is. Definitely like to move out of my parents place. While i could atm i just don't want to put myself into financial stress so i'm weighing my options on this.
