Let's see...how can I introduce myself. Well, I'm pretty amazing. Yeah, I would have to say that I am probably one of the most awesome people ever. And I'm TOTALLY humble about it.
 
As you can probably tell, I have an AMAZING sense of humor! No but seriously, I'm a really nice guy, a sweetheart at heart and a romantic, though sometimes my...uniqueness can get in the way. Some would say I have a dirty mind. Not all the time...just...when it's appropriate. Like swearing. (I swear, when it's appropriate. The whole point of swearing is that it AIN'T appropriate!)(Bonus points if you can tell me where that's from!)
 
Ok so about the Geek me. Oh yeah, so I'm a geek, self-proclaimed and proud of it. What makes me a geek? Well I'm very passionate about my...passions. The things that interest me, I'm really into them. You could basically say I'm a sci-fi/fantasy geek; I guess that would be the best classification. But see below.
 
I LOVE Star Wars, like so much so that I was once told that I eat, drink, and breathe it. Not THAT much...but I did destroy my parents in Star Wars Trivial Pursuit...3 wedges before either of them got to take even a SINGLE turn.
 
I also love Firefly and Serenity, and pretty much anything Joss Whedon. I mean who doesn't? Who can't? The man is a freakin' genius! If you're not familiar, don't worry, I'll introduce you to him.
 
In terms of books, Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter are my all time favs. I'm into fantasy. Deal with it.
 
Speaking of fantasy, I play Dungeons & Dragons. Well, it's TECHNICALLY Pathfinder, but let's just call it D&D.
 
Oh, and I play a lot of video games. I am currently entrenched in the struggle for the galaxy between the Galactic Republic and Sith Empire in Star Wars: The Old Republic. But don't worry. It doesn't eat up TOO much of my time. You are still WAY more important.

Well, I'm funny, sweet, kind, nice, romantic, a little dirty-minded, kinky, intelligent, sometimes don't listen to common sense, hard time managing time and organizing, sometimes hard to get motivated to do things I don't want to do, but it's very useful to have an outside motivating factor...like you!

Seriously though, I'm about...5'7", maybe 5'8" on a good day. I weigh about 190, 200 lbs. (a few extra pounds...don't exercise as much as I should...but it's boring by myself!). I have brown hair and hazel eyes. But I'm REALLY comfortable to lay on, and fall asleep on! And there's more of me to LOVE!!!!!
 
So yeah, I may not be the most attractive, buff, skinny, blah-blah-blah guy out there, but my personality more than makes up for it. But I'm happy with my appearance. I hope you are too.

I'm a high school English teacher. I used to be in film, but that didn't really work out. So I've gone back to my second/first passion/love: teaching. I was a paraprofessional in every different level of school (elementary, middle, and high school), and while I love the respect and enthusiasm and love the elementary kids give, I just love the subject matter of high school more.
 
So yep, I teach high school English. May not be the most profitable job, but I think it's the best.

I have two parents. They are pretty cool, even when I think they suck or are being unreasonable. They have been very supportive of me and helped me out a lot.
 
I have no biological siblings, but I do have three sisters whom I've adopted, looking after them. You know, I mean like we've grown close enough that I treat them as my sisters and look out for them, care about them in a big brother way...it's not that weird!
 
I have a couple of aunts and uncles, and several cousins, but they all live not near me. So I don't see them very often. Always wanted a bigger family.
 
So yeah, only child (technically). Sometimes great, sometimes sucks.

Hmm...oh yeah, I also really like Dr. Who now, and a bunch of new TV shows. True Blood is pretty cool, and that new show on FOX (death to FOX!) Breaking In. And New Girl is wicked funny.
 
I'm a regular watcher of NCIS and CSI:, but obviously my favorite TV show of all time is Firefly, followed EXTREMELY closely by Futurama. And my guilty pleasure TV show will always be Hercules: The Legendary Journeys, the one with Kevin Sorbo? It was freaking awesome!
 
Ok, I think I've geeked out enough for one profile...although...it IS a geek dating site...

My social life pretty much consists of hanging out with my friends. Well...I guess that IS what defines a social life. But yeah, when we hang out we are usually either:
 
playing multiplayer video games (like Gears of War, Halo, or Rock Band)
 
playing tabletop RPGs like Dungeons & Dragons/Pathfinder

watching movies
 
playing poker
 
Sometimes we go out for dinner and drinks.
 
I'd like to experience more. But I'd like someone to experience it with. :)

Well besides you, probably George Lucas (who I "met" before!). Also, Peter Jackson, Steven Speilberg, Kevin Smith, Joss Whedon, these amazing geek directors/filmmakers/visionaries.
 
Plus there's like a million actors and actresses, among them Natalie Portman, Emma Watson, Kiera Knightley, Jewel Staite, Summer Glau, Jessica Alba, Felicia Day, Olivia Munn, Morgan Webb, Ryan Gosling, Ewan McGregor, Liam Neeson, Mark Hammill, Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, pretty much everyone ever involved with Star Wars, etc.

What else can I say? Um...I think I pretty much spelled it all out throughout this thing. If you want to know something, ask me!

Social Drinker...not opposed to it, just don't do it that often. Maybe I just need to get out and party more...though as a teacher it gets hard.

Keeping good eating habits is essential...though I don't always follow it...how come the best tasting foods are always the worst for you?!

Are we talking legal or illegal? Legal drugs are very useful. Illegal drugs (or legal drugs abused) are strictly opposed...and stupid.
Except for one. If you smoke pot, I don't have a problem with it, as long as it's not like...an addiction.

Hygiene is Mandatory! Failure to keep good hygiene is treasonous! (Bonus points if you can tell me where that's from!)
 
Yeah, you need good hygiene. I try my best to keep it; showers every day...though probably be a LOT more enjoyable with some good-looking company ;)        you know, to wash those hard-to-reach places.

I want them someday...Kaylee...Anakin...you know, geeky names.

I love animals! I had a dog for a LONG time, a VERY long time. He was like...17, 18, 19 years old. Phred. Most of my life I remember having him...but I probably got him when I was like, 9 or 10. He was my dad's dog (since Dad was the Alpha), but I always called him my dog.
 
Yes it is in the past tense. We were forced to say goodbye to Phred just over a year ago, after he became seriously ill. Well...he was supposed to die like two or three years prior to that, but with some medicine and love, he hung on. It was like a miracle! But he started to get worse about two years ago, and eventually he just couldn't really like...live. It wasn't fair. And then he got a significant infection on his head, and there was no way to heal it. I wasn't home, but my parents told me.
 
He was my first, and so far, only pet, and he was my brother. I will always love him.
 
Wow, that was depressing. I'm so sorry. Moving on...

Politics, shmolotics. I believe in Freedom, and what is best for the PEOPLE. Though it is hard to exist without politics.
 
Ok, ok, so I'm TECHNICALLY a Democrat. But it doesn't bother me, I don't really give much thought to politics to be honest with you.

I used to think Organized Religion was a Cult. Now, I don't have a problem with it. I SUPPORT religion, just don't necessarily practice it.
 
I like to believe in a philosophy, a way of thinking. Yes, I'll admit, I do like to consider my religion "Jedi," but that's not really accurate. Technically I'm Jewish, though I don't practice, I do support the Jewish faith and struggle, etc.
 
I like the idea of Balance in the Universe; The Force, Tao/Daoism, Buddhaism, whatever you want to call it. I like to believe that there is Good and Bad in the Universe, and it exists in balance and harmony, and when it gets out of balance, that's when things start to get crazy.

I don't...I prefer you don't...killing yourself faster, I think. But it's not a deal breaker.
