I LOVE reality TV, Bravo, sleazy magazines, gossip blogs, technology, my fat cat Tito, my silly kids, the drive in movies, food, coke (the drink), really amazing restaurants, the lake, good gossip, anything paranormal and strange things in general as long as they don't scare the bejeezus out of me.
I believe in love and geek love in particular.  It doesn't matter what you look like, where you are in life or how flawed/broken you perceive yourself to be.  I can promise you that you will meet someone, someday who will think you are perfect...just as you are and they will want to suck the lips off your face with intergalactic passion.

My outsides are a reflection of the crap I stuff in my face. My true self is a skinny, perfect, elf.

I am the Queen of Geek Love, the Geek Love Fairy Godmother, the Geek Yenta and hopefully the chick responsible for providing the spot where you meet the geek love of your life.  Or at least the spot that leads to an awesome geek hookup (please email me details...dirty ones ).

My family is insane. They are loud. Jeff's family is generally quiet and intellectual. My family drinks beer, Jeff's family drinks wine. My family is a religious, conservative, right wing mish mosh (yikes).  Jeff's is liberal, not-so religious, left wing. Jeff's family includes tons of minorities and diversity. Mine does not. We come from such different places in life but we were cut from the same geek cloth.

Currently obsessed with Wii. Past obsessions (most actually still current as well) Hydroponics, EV technology and conversion, Geocaching, Airstream restoration, all things paranormal and fine dining.
I believe in anything from Santa to Mothman to the Bermuda Triangle.  Yup.  Tell me an outlandish story and I promise to believe it.

Social Circle:  All of our friends are women! Lucky Jeff. He refers to them as his side-wives(he wishes).
Ideal Date: My ideal date was my first date with my Husband, your host, Jeffrey the Geek. We met online and after some humorous emails and one nervous phone conversation we agreed to meet. We met in the children's book section at Barnes and Noble near the book "Everybody Poops". This set the tone for the rest of our relationship. After some chit chat I felt pretty secure that Jeffrey was not a serial killer so I consented to a movie. We saw Spiderman. The rest is history.
Typical Weekend: Coding, eating, Wii-ing, and generally hanging out with the hubby.
What you do for Fun: We like to dine out and sing bad Karaoke at the local pubs.
Looking for in a Relationship: I am looking to meet people who understand what it is like to live and date as a geek. Or who like the work we've done here. We've tried to keep it real and busted our asses in our spare time to make this happen. We hope you like it.

You.  I wish I could meet all of the SOG community personally and hang out over a bowl of twizzlers and some cold Mountain Dew.

Personality: I'm silly, lazy, irreverent, creative and intuitive. Jeff is logical, hard working and laid back. He's the smartest man I ever met so I had to marry him.
Sense of humor: Sick and Immature.
Tolerance level: We are both pretty mellow and super tolerant. Having suffered nerd/geek persecution we know what it is to be picked on so we have both developed a heightened sense of what is or is not fair. We both pride ourselves on our collective compassion and attentiveness to other peoples needs.
Weaknesses: I hate doing laundry or mowing the lawn. If it were left up to me we would have no clothes but it wouldn't matter because no one could see us behind all the tall weeds.
Life Improvement: I would improve my Wii fitness age. And I would adopt a baby from every impoverished nation. I would also like to learn to ski. Currently I fall down a lot and I would like to change that. I would also like to learn not to break yolks when I try to flip an egg. And I would like to be able to hold my breath longer just in case my car plunges off of a bridge someday.

I don't drink.  When I do it unleashes a level of inhibition that ain't pretty and potentially illegal.

I love food.  All food.  Most food.  No seafood.  Especially sweet food.

Drugs are whack.  Yeah....I said whack.  I have nothing more clever than that to say.

Fashion?   Fashion is something I see on Bravo.  Andy Cohen has the 411 on fashion.  I have the 411 on clothing that is stained by highly caffeinated beverages and jelly doughnuts.  I have a coach bag but it was a gift....I can't take credit.

My Brain is fit and that's about it.  I am a fluffy woman and I love myself.  The beauty of being a geek is the level of self acceptance in our community.  We tend not to judge one another and I believe that is why we create some of the strongest romantic bonds....because we aren't looking at the outside!  Attendance to the superficial is for muggles.

I'm fresh and clean to the point of being psychotic.  Yup.  OCD levels of clean.  Except for my car.  It smells like a french fry combined with a dead rodent.

We have two children and we chose to grow our family through international, special needs adoption.   If you have questions about adoption I am always happy to provide any information I can.  If it's something that is in your heart, even if you are single, it's good to get informed now because it can take years and you will want to be sure any geek partners you date are open minded and informed as well.  :) Email me if you have questions.

I like all creatures large and small.  I would like to get all of my moles tattooed to look like paw prints...like some tiny creature ran all over me.  I prefer animals to humans.

I don't smoke because it is icky.  Sorry smoking geeks.  I once smoked so I have sympathy for your struggles but I wish with all my heart that you can someday quit.
