About Me

I'm in the middle of getting my bachelor's in English Literature. I'm kinda a combination of a dweeb, geek, and nerd. I can have otaku moments, but I really love Japanese culture as a whole, not just the animated bits. I'm great at Trivial Pursuit, because my brain is chock-full of strange, useless facts. I can be hyper sometimes and sarcastic others, but I really do love to talk to people once I open up to them. Until then, I can be a little shy. I love reading and writing, as well as drawing, though I'm a much better author than artist. You'll never see me willingly parted from my glasses whilst awake, since I'm legally blind without them. I'm a total cat person, but can get along with dogs as long as they don't get too rough.

Ethnicity: White (Caucasian)First Job: I used to stuff envelopes for my step-dad's kitchen exhaust cleaning business. I did babysitting before that, but since it was usually my own siblings, I don't know if that counts.

Body Type: Average, Height: Somewhat taller than Average, Eye Color: Brown, Hair Color: Light Brown, Hair Style: Straight, Hair Length: Medium

Some College

Schools Attended: Let's see... overall? Mmm, I'll only go into the high schools and above for now. I attended Gilbert High School for two years, Raymond S. Kellis High School for a year, and I graduated from Independence High School after going for a year. I attended Arizona State University for two years, dropped because of family drama, went to South Mountain Community College, and am now in the process of finishing online classes for Spring, then transferring to UNC for Fall.

Work Field: StudentWorking Environment: I go to school full-time, at two different campuses. I'm taking four classes currently, all of which are slightly random. I don't really make any money, just live off scholarships and grants.

Family Life: Geez, where to start. Umm, I'm the oldest of four, and still live at home with my siblings, mom, and step-dad. I'm estranged from my father... well, really that whole side of the family. My mother is from the South and sort of raised us in the southern traditions. I'm Irish-Scotch-English-French-Turkish-Russian-Dutch, although apparently, I might be an eighth Latino as well, something about a man on a train with my great-grandmother, who she ended up naming my grandmother after. My whole family is really superstitious, but not religious. We try to stay close-knit, so anyone who dates me will have to pass inspection fairly early in the relationship.

Ideal Date: I think we'd start out at an Asian food place, nothing fancy, but good food none the less. Share everything we order and chat about books and such. Then we'd either go to the movies or the arcade. Share snacks wherever we go, and just have a fun time. Window shop through the bookstore, and wind up at a coffee shop to talk some more, either about the books we saw, the date as a whole, or ourselves. Not too picky, or overly girly.Typical Weekend: I usually sleep in, after going to sleep around four in the morning. Then, I work on homework or hang out with any of my three younger siblings and my mom. Clean my beta's fish bowl and mess around on the computer. Write fanfictions, as well as original stories, and play Animal Crossing. I might go shopping with my mom and sister, but I usually only but things at Hot Topic, Goodwill, bookstores, or game stores.Social Circle / Friends: I don't have a huge circle of friends. The ones I do have are fairly eclectic. I hang out with the nerds, stoners, goths, and other outsiders of the mainstream social frame. I've known my best friend since I was a freshman in high school, and we stay in touch, though we don't see each other very often. I can act like a Mother Hen, so it's kind of common for me to adopt my little sister's friends as my own as well. I dote quite a bit on those close to me.What you do for Fun: Play video games, chat, watch movies, make fun of said movies, swap anime and manga, listen to music. Fuel ourselves with candy and caffeine. Just cause I'm not a child any longer doesn't mean I don't act like one.Looking for in a Relationship: I'm really looking for someone who can put up with me. I want someone to banter with, laugh with, and cuddle with. I've never really been in a relationship before, so I guess they'll have to ease me into it. I can be childish and argumentative, but that's usually after I've felt criticized. I need someone who can ease me out of my shell and put up with the monster they've unleashed afterwards.  I'm kind dominate, so a sub would be great.

Personality: I'm sort of hard to describe, even to myself. Sometimes I'm uber hyper and playful, but others I'm a total recluse. I can be snarky, but I have a quick wit and will banter with the best of them. I'm considered quiet until you get to know me. It all depends on how comfortable I am with the company and setting, I suppose.Sense of humor: Hmm, dark, childish, intelligent. I'll laugh at dead baby jokes, but not racist ones. I hate potty humor, but the rest is okay. I'm a huge fan of Monty Python, but I hate MadTV. I've only got a few jokes I actually remember. Here's one: A pair of Polish scientists are hard at work at their lab on a base, rushing because the word is that the Nazis are approaching. They try to work as much as they can, until the soldiers are right at the gates. As the Nazis storm the base, the scientists flee, running to the airfield, where others are taking planes to make their escape. The couple choose their own plane, and while the Nazis advance, try to make it work, but can't figure it out, despite their brilliance. The Nazis are in sight, and fast gaining, and the scientists are getting desperate. Finally, they stop fiddling with the mechanisms, throw their heads back, and cry: "Help, help, we're two simple Poles stuck on a complex plane!" Yeah, math jokes are classic.Temper / Tolerance level: It, again, depends on the day. Most of the time, I'm fine with moderate noise and bustle. But I get jumpy when it gets too loud. I don't get angry quickly, but I do debate and argue good-naturedly sometimes. If you don't act too ignorant or insult my family, we'll be fine.Weaknesses: I get defensive easily. I also blush at the drop of a hat, if I'm feeling at all flustered. I stutter and blush if I'm in front of people making a speech or something of the sort.Life Improvement: Umm... well, I guess I could eat better. What with my strange hours for classes and sleeping, I kinda eat whenever I can. Only exercise really is walking between buildings on campus and between bus stops, as well as DDR, but I'm reasonably fit. I don't spend a lot of time on my looks, but I do try to wear things I think look cool. It's mostly a t-shirt and jeans, but I don't just pull things out of the closet with my eyes closed. No Vestaments Russian Roulette for me, thanks all the same.Degrees: I graduated high school, so my high school diploma currently. I'm in my second year of college currently.Extracurricular Activities: None right now, but I was in Academic Decathalon fro two years in high school, anime club for two years, Scholastic Bowl for one, astronomy club for one, and science club for one.  I love doing ceramics and it would be a major hobby of mine if I had the equipment.

Drinking: I don't drink, but don't mind others drinking

Eating Habits: I'll eat just about anything

I don't use any, but I'm okay with people using the organics (pot, shrooms, and opium), it's as soon as you use the chemically altered stuff that we'll have Words.

My Fashion is: Average

Fitness Level: My Brain is fit, my body is okay...

Hygiene: I may not shower every day, but I don't offend

Children: I don't have any, but would like some one day

I like Dogs, Cats, Reptiles, Fish, Varmints/Rodents, Exotics.  I have two dogs currently and a hairless rat named Bobo.

Political Party: Independent, Political Leanings (Fiscal): Left of Center, Political Leanings (Social): Left of Center, Political Leanings (Domestic): Far Left, Political Leanings (Global): Left of Center

Religion / Spirituality: Inter-Denominational

Smoking: I don't smoke, but I don't mind others smoking
