About Me

I am a medical transcriptionist by day, a paranormal investigator and writer of paranormal books by night. I run a very popular paranormal blog and am right now working on a book "Paranormal Geeks." I love urban exploration and photography, organic gardening, carnivals, sky watching, horror movies, and laughs.

I am quick-witted and sassy, say it like it is, have a quick mind, can multitask, full of great ideas that I actually go and chase because I don't take "can't do that" for an answer. My weaknesses are that I don't get angry much. I just don't expect people to do things the way I do. I can be independent, so asking for help is hard.

I am 5'8", average size, long red hair, golden-brown eyes, pale skin, and have a tattoo of an autumn leaf on my right upper arm.

College Graduate

I graduated from Chaparral High in Scottsdale, went on to SCC and got my 2-year degree and since then took 4 more years of full-time college and got a certification in medical transcription.

Medical Transcriptionist and author.

I used to model and do pageants, then managed clothing stores, then went into medical transcription and writing and publishing books.

I grew up in a famous haunted house outside of DC in Virginia. It was a Civil War hospital and I used to dig up relics from the Civil War and Revolutionary War and put them in a display cabinet. The estate got a lot of attention for its ghosts. We also had a summer home on the Chesapeake, a big old Victorian home, and a yacht. I grew up spending summers clamming and crabbing and exploring an abandoned lighthouse. I had a father who was very successful and a mother who was an art teacher and historian. I got from both of them creativity and initiative. I had 4 siblings, 2 of them passed away early. The survivors live in West Virginia, across country. My 23-year-old son and his fiancee live here locally near me in their own home.

organic gardening, roadside carnivals, photography, collecting abandoned creepy dolls I find at abandoned locations, watching horror movies and thrillers, talking theories about paranormal subjects. I pretty much let curiosity drive me.

I work from home, so my social life usually involves going out with my gal pals, doing road trips, paranormal investigations, Bigfoot hunts, and such.

A man who is intelligent, affectionate, can laugh at things and even himself, is creative and yet logical, and enjoys the unknown and paranormal subjects.

I love having spontaneous road trips and just wandering through mining towns and creepy places. I love adventures of the mind or outdoors. I love nature. I adore rain. I love skinny dipping. I'm a very odd balance of Virgo-logical and whimsical fairy.

All things in moderation. If someone drinks to get drunk, they are not for me.

I eat healthy, but I allow for naughty foods. The ratio is like 92% healthy, 8% unhealthy. Not bad. I am not picky. I like all foods, but not as thrilled about Mexican as most folks. It's kind of boring and mushy to me.

Absolutely not. A real deal breaker.

I was a model, so I do love clothes. I don't dress up a lot, but I do appreciate looking nice. When it comes to men, they all look great in khaki cargo pants and jeans with a black tee.

You move your mind all day, you need to spend some time moving your body too or it will complain in lots of ways. I don't think being fanatical is helpful, but the brain cannot sit in the skull without a good blood flow and oxygen--so get up and move sometimes. I try to move myself around 2 hours a day in some way because between my work and my writing, it can be sedentary.

Shower a day keeps the odors away.

I love kids, just not having anymore.

Love dogs. Allergic to cats.

Liberal.

Religion is the prostitution of spirituality.

It kills.
