About Me

I'm 24 years old and looking for a serious relationship. I'm not a hardcore geek, but I definitely love certain aspects of geekdom. The original Star Wars trilogy are the best movies ever made. The prequels are blasphemy! I love to read, especially fantasy and history books. I play guitar and mainly listen to metal, but also enjoy classical, jazz, and some new age stuff like Yanni and Enya.

I want a woman who enjoys the same things I do and isn't afraid to express her nerdiness. Hopefully, she will be able to quote Star Wars conversations with me ;P

I like to laugh and have a good time as much as the next guy. I'm usually pretty shy when meeting someone for the first time, but I come out of my shell after I get to know them. I would be just as happy sitting in front of a fire reading with a woman as going out and hiking, watching a movie, etc.

Some College

Recently got out of the Army, now finishing school.

My family is very tight-knit.

As mentioned above, I LOVE Star Wars and Lord of the Rings and frequently quote scenes from both.

I like Ren Faires (who doesn't???) but haven't been to any cons yet. My ideal partner would be the Guinevere to my Lancelot, the Arwen to my Aragorn, and of course, be more than happy to dress as such for Ren Faires :)

I love playing guitar (don't get your hopes up, I'm not that great!) and mainly listen to metal. Favorite bands are Symphony X, Metallica, Chimaira, Iced Earth...

I don't do much console gaming, but I enjoy PC games. The Total War series and the old school DnD games are my favorites (Baldur's Gate II is amazing).

A few close friends. Not a big bar/club-goer. Tight-knit family.

I have a beer every once and a while. Sometimes on special occasions I'll have a few and get a happy buzz, but I haven't been "drunk" for a long time.

If you enjoy food, eat. You only live once -- do what you love.

Drugs are bad, m'kay. Pot is alright in moderation, just like alcohol.

Not very fashion-minded. I don't look sloppy, but I'm not dropping hundreds of dollars on clothes. Usually I wear jeans and button-ups or polos.

I love powerlifting and strength training, but please don't think I'm one of those arrogant jock douches. I am also not "chiseled" and have no intentions of becoming so.

I'm a VERY clean person. Let's just say that I keep my apartment cleaner than any woman's house I've ever been to. Except my grandma's, but grandmas always have clean houses :P

Not certain yet, but I think I would like kids sometime in the future. It would definitely have to wait until I got a good career and a stable lifestyle.

I love cats and have two of them. Dogs are cool, except for the little yappy ones.

Not very politically active. I share some ideas from both sides of the fence.

Atheist/agnostic. However, I respect other people's beliefs and have no qualms about dating a religious girl.

Cigarettes are an instant turn-off. I smoke pipe tobacco and cigars occasionally (once a month or so) and would be happy to do it outside if someone objected.
