Hi! Pirates of Dark Water, winning!

*shock* you mean someone else remembers that show?! I began to believe I made it up!

But, as far as "old classics", Thundercats and their space-born counterparts, Silverhawks were two of my favorites.

Now, I know that some will say, "feurfrei, you're just jumping on the TC bandwagon". No; I was a teenager when they first aired! So there!

Of course! Both of those are very good - I particularly love the Powderpuff girls and meet the Beat Alls - hilarious, no matter how old you are!!

So while we're on these "classics" I'll toss in Samurai Jack - that show was a work of art!

That show was amazing! Great story, great art/animation, great voice acting! Lots of emotion in that show. I also like the little tip o' the hat to the "Lone Wolf and Cub" manga that was in one of the episodes. I'm sure there were more manga/anime references, but I missed them.

My modern Cartoon Network classic is the " Total Drama " series ( especially season 3 ). I haven't seen last seasons " Total Drama Redux... " mainly because I went a year and a half without cable. Now that I signed up for cable, I'm going to try to catch up before the new season start in the fall.

Yeah! I thought I wasn't going to like it when it first aired. I could not have been more wrong! Great shows!

"Sixteen" was pretty funny, too. Not as funny as "Total Drama", but it was a close second...

Yeah, " Sixteen " was a cool show, but I wished the creators hadn't cancelled it in favor of the series " Stoked ". " Sixteen " reminded me of a cartoon version of " Friends ", just as the first season of " Total Drama..." reminded me of a cartoon parody of Survivors and the third season of Total Drama reminded me of a cartoon parody of the " Amazing Race " with a little dash of " American Idol " tossed in for laughs. My favorite character used to be Izzie. But Sierra out-crazied Izzie by far.

"Stoked", in my opinion, was pretty crappy, compared to the rest. However, how long could they have gone with "Sixteen" and "Total Drama"? I agree with your assessment, though. Perhaps they coud re-emerge with a parody version of "Big Brother" or, gods forbid, WWE/TNA? I would watch that! LOL
