I have written for almost as long as I have been reading. I have actually edited and written professionally (and nothing felt better than that first sale. LOL)
Really?What kinda book?Im curious about the process of getting a book published?
They were humuorus how tos. The book I edited was an exotic bird training guide, written from the viewpoint of the birds. It was fun, and silly.
The eBooks I wrote were also bird training books from the bird's viewpoint, they were about 40-100 pages each, and were a blast to write. It was even more fun to see p[eople actually buy them.
What do you write? Who are you submitting too?

Actually Im not a writer,but I do have a member of the family that is writing a book and want to be the next big thing.Im just looking for help and advice to help him,hence why I joined this group,please dont hate me...lol.
I'm currently writing a novel about a non-orthogonal fourth spacial dimension influencing inter-dimensional cultures with no linear reference to the time domain. Just thought I'd throw that out there and see if anyone can top the nerdscale of it. A friend of mine actually laughed *at* me today for it. Curious to see its reception here.

Let's see...I've been writing since I was about 10. I write mostly song lyrics and poetry. I've written a screenplay and a play but never had them published. I'm working on three books...but the ADHD keeps me from finishing anything haha Someday, when I hit the lotto big, I can quit my job and spend all my time finishing my projects from a computer on a tropical island lol
I recently re-published my novel on Kindle. Only a handful of sales so far, but the feedback I've been getting has been great. The good thing about Kindle is that you can edit to your heart's content. So if you feel something isn't working, you can fix it. I like to write but don't have a technique. I just write what's on my mind. It puts my feelings and ideas on paper or computer lol. I read fiction and some poetry. I would like to write a children's novel but not to make money. It would be just for me to prove I can do it.
