Do I have to do everything by myself?
O.K., welcome to the Kinky Geeks lounge. As stated in the chubby/curvey lounge, I'm not the originator of this lounge, I'm only the 2nd member to join. To help get the ball started, I'll tell you about a somewhat interesting situation. I had joined the web site Alt.com out of curiousity. After seeing a documentary on MSNBC concerning a serial killer who lived in the Maryland / D.C. / Virginia area who found his victims on SM/BD website, I wanted to see what type of people were on that site. After reading several ads, I contacted several members in the chat room and ask how do I break into the S/M scene. One of the members said that I had to attend a " Munch and Org. ". With my Jerry Springer mentality, I thought he meant an oral sex orgy. The member laughed and said " No... A munch and org is like a meet and greet. He explained that those who want to enter in the SM/BD scene had to meet those who are already experienced with SM/BD at a nuetral, public setting. In this case, a luncheon held in the lobby of a hotel. These couples or individuals who were well experienced with SM/BD would meet new people who would like to get into the scene, in order to ask questions, get acquainted and exchange phone numbers, if the people hit it off well. Someone in the chat room invited me to a Munch and Org., but I was too " chicken " to actually go. I had no one to go to the event with me other than a lesbian, friend who jumped at the opportunity. The problem was that my lesbian friend's girlfriend was the jealous type and I know she would put a foot up my friend's ass and my ass as well for attending a munch and org. So the question that I'm throwing out to any person who may wander into this lounge:
How do you build the trust of someone who intent is to tie you up or handcuff you, humilate you, inflict pain on you or do something that is far worse to you.
What some of domme and dominatrix say they what to do to a person are so outrages that you have to question putting your trust in them. So my question goes out to all you geeks out there who are like me, timid and unsure. And to all the geeks who have already entered the SM/BD scene.
