So, I know cryptozoology is the study of legendary animals, but are we including ghosts here?

Probably not but a paranormal group should be made. Not that ALL paranormal falls under "ghost hunting" but would be the best place for it. No Crypto specifically isn't so much about "Legendary" animals/creatures although that tends to be what gets the most attention but only the study of/ belief in the existence of animals/creatures that have not been physically identified or classified. Most "extinct" animals would also fall under crypto. The big one I know about is the coelacanth that was found a while back. I mean basically any scientist that discovers a new/lost species is a cryptozoololgist basically but just a select few dedicate themselves to the study.

Aaaaaah, thank you for the clarification - I didn't realize it was that all-encompassing! So, cryptozoologists aren't necessarily as crazy as they are portrayed in popular media. Fascinating!
And I'm all over the paranormal group! Look for GPS!
