Who can view my profile?

If you make a profile on Sweet on Geeks, it will be viewable to our membership and have a URL viewable on the Internet.  We may use your profile picture and profile URL as the Featured Member on the site as well as on our Facebook Fan Page and Twitter posts.  Your actual name, email address or other contact information will never be displayed.  Please email us at office@sweetongeeks.com if you would like us to refrain from using your profile picture or URL for these purposes.  Also, we encourage you to carefully consider what information you include in your profile as this will be viewable to others.

Are you a dating site or a social network?

Both.  We are a place for geeks to meet and support one another regardless of intent.  If you find geek love then that is the happiest day of all.

Am I a geek?

You should know this.  If you aren't 100% certain, then we refer you to the Wikipedia. 

What if I'm not a geek?

You don't have to be a geek...  You just need to be a geekophile.

What if I'm a nerd, dork, dweeb or spaz?

All of those things are subsets of general geekdom and all are welcome... all are welcome.

What does it cost to join Sweet on Geeks?

You can sign up for a Trial Membership for free.  That will give you 30 days to check out the site, build a profile, load some pictures and see who's out here.  At any time you can upgrade to a full membership for just $5 per month.  That will let you interact with the other members via email, winks, chat, groups, forums and wall posts.

Are you Gay/Lesbian/Transgender friendly?

Of course.  Geeks hate oppression and/or discrimination of any kind.

How do I delete or hide my profile?

You will find options for each of these on your member home page.  Just click the 'Edit Profile' link under your picture on the top left.  To delete your account, click the 'Delete Account' button at the bottom of the page.  To hide your profile, click on the 'profile' button at the top, then select 'Yes' to the 'Hide Profile' question, finally, click the 'Save' button to save your profile.

Do you censor content on member profiles?

No.  BUT if you offend we will.  We reserve the right to define what is and is not offensive.  Don't be a hater or a bully or super creepy.
