Tell me something interesting
I wasn't sure exactly where to put this, as there doesnt seem to be just a "general" forum...
But there doesnt seem to be much in the way of communication, so far as I've seen.. I could be wrong and am just coming on at the wrong times and such, but anyways...
"Tell me something interesting", is a conversation starter I usually use on Omegle, and I thought I'd try it here :)
"Define 'Interesting'." :)
[I'm a Browncoat, so sue me.]
Jedi is a recognized religion in Australia with over 70,000 members. hmmmm. That may not have been that interesting. I'm sleepy.
@ltngrcr9051 - The question is meant to be open, to broaden your answer...
Any Emily Dickinson poem can be sung to "The yellow rose of Texas."
Okay... How about this: on its opening weekend, "Serenity" earned the #2 box-office reciept ranking, out-grossed only by "Flightplan", a Jodie Foster psychological thriller that is largely forgotten (other than the afforementioned).
Is your interest sufficiently piqued?
Is this like "tell us something interesting about yourself" or something interesting in general?
the question is meant to be open, you can perceive it however you wish :P
100% of trees are made out of wood!
:O
San Francisco is the 4th most populous city in California. The second largest is San Diego, with a population greater than that of the largest city in Texas.
Edit: Oh wait, interesting.
Alan Turing (Of Turing machine, Turing test, and Turing complete fame), one of the fathers of modern computer science, killed himself by eating an apple with a fatal dose of cyanide after being chemically castrated for being a homosexual. He was 41 years old when he died.
"something interesting"
or should I be louder
SOMETHING INTERESTING!!!"
I refute your point, DruffyB. I have met some very nice plastic ficus in my day, and the trees in a Petrified Forest are made of stone.
My algorithms professor once told me this:
"Imagine that the set of all problems in the universe fits in this classroom. Then, the set of all problems solvable by a computer is about the size of my coffee. And the problems that can be solved quickly by a computer (in polynomial time relative to the size of the input) is the size of the foam on the coffee."
Supposing that P is a proper subset of NP, and that NC is a proper subset of P, I can believe this analogy.
The Great Barrier Reef of Australia is the only natural landmark astronauts can use from space, other than the continents that is.

The smallest trees in the world are the dwarf willows that grow on the tundra of Greenland. They are only two inches tall.
