SoftWetware

The future is exciting with people like me around, and it'll be even more exciting if I'm not spending it alone!
I'm a graduate student (Applied Modelling at Trent), but there's a lot more to me than that. I'm also an avid sci-fi reader (Cory Doctorow FTW), blogger (my blog is at http://softwetware.blogspot.com) and gamer (mostly World of Warcraft). Occasionally play D&D; used to play Magic: The Gathering (still have my old cards).
I live to learn and don't want my education to end when I leave university.
I want to go into research or experimental engineering. Mad scientists are going to be major characters in the next chapter of humanity's story. And if we're heroes instead of villains, that story will have a happy ending! :-)
I'm quiet and introverted, and prefer quality over quantity when it comes to friendships.
I decided not to date during my undergraduate years, because it would take time away from studying when I needed it the most. But now that I'm getting ready for graduate school, and have a few months off before I start, it's time for a change. If I'm married to my career, it's time to cheat on her! ;-)
