I am in my final year of law school. I studied music before that, spending most of my time with Choirs and my free time playing old video games, reading and watching classic film. While I'm not necessarily an anime or comic book fan I'm not against them. The reason is simple, I probably would be a fan but as a law student I can't afford the hobby. Alas.
I loved Buffy and all works of Whedon (yes, even Dollhouse) when they were on the air and own most of the DVD collections. It's now become short hand, when people ask me why I'm not a Twilight fan, rather than piss them off by launching into an argument involving Mary-Sues and stalkers, I simply say I was a Buffy fan back in the day. If they are not itching for a fight they just write me off as a tasteless loser and back off. To be fair, I do the same to them.

My social life:
I chat some with a few other law students and members of my undergraduate choir. Close relationship with my parents and siblings. And of course my dog, Andromeda.
My insides:
I have a snarky sense of humor, occasionally sarcastic and a little bit cynical. I also sometimes have a childish sense of humor. I can be argumentative and aggressive but I am shy of people.
My outsides:
Short, slightly less than 4'11 and therefore well accustomed to heels. Natural red/blonde hair I guess it's called strawberry blonde. Hazel eyes closer to green than brown. White chick and if I forget the SPF 100 it turns red. Never could tan. No tattoos but a rather prominent scar from spinal surgery.

Law student. Job seeker.

Northwest Florida State College
University of West Florida
Florida State University College of Law

My interests, hobbies, obsessions:
JRPGs, Classic Films, European and American History, Musicals, Television with a good mix of comedy and drama.

College Graduate
My family:
My family is the black sheep members of a larger group. My dad grew up in a large family who were taught religion above all else. He was a skeptic and remains so to this day. My mother is Swedish/Italian and my dad is Brit/Irish descent which pretty much means I'm short and stubby with a boring name from my dad's side but lovely bone structure from my mom.
Your thoughts in a nutshell
My thoughts on Smoking:
I am a little asthmatic. If I smoked I would be a lot asthmatic therefore I don't do it. Plus it's expensive.
My thoughts on Religion:
Believe in God or some kind of higher power. Beyond that one conviction, I have very little to say about religion other than it seems to make some people very rich. I don't necessarily believe in the ultra personal God, the only who sees all and knows all and pushes you in every manner of directions but I also don't want to believe in the bad ass God of the Old Testament.
My thoughts on Politics:
Mostly not interested. Perhaps if there was a candidate willing to actually do what he promised and not sink our country down into the pits of debt, perhaps I'd be more interested but such a candidate does not, and never has existed since John Adams was elected president and only found out when they told him afterward.
My thoughts on Pets:
I have a pet, her name is Andromeda. She is a 9 pound Shih Tsu relatively quiet and well behaved. She's also a female and therefore very little testosterone and no urge to piss on everything in sight. I am allergic to shedding animals but I do like animals. Since I got her, people have tried to guess, without success, who I named her after. I heard Andromeda Strain, Galaxy, and even Greek Mythology. I blame the Harry Potter Movies for this. They cut the character and skipped directly to the Weasely home in DH.
My thoughts on Kids:
I don't mind them though I don't know much about them. Which means that my nieces clamor to me because unlike my dad, I'm not about to swoop down and grab them or annoy them.
My thoughts on Alcohol:
I don't care for it but I don't care if other people drink. I went out drinking once in Oxford. Had drinks, got a bit dizzy, got felt up by a strange guy, lost my voice trying to be heard over the music and then someone spilled beer on me. Never had the urge to do it again.
My thoughts on Diet:
I stay under a certain calorie count, exercise enough and therefore have little restrictions on diet. If I want a doughnut, I have a doughnut. I've found that nothing annoys other people more than obsessing about weight.
My thoughts on Drugs:
See above for alcohol. It's just not my thing. Also illegal which as a lawyer is generally not considered a good thing. Besides, my one experience with a heavy hallucinogen when I was in the hospital for surgery did not end well. My hallucinations got so bad I was seeing people and creatures everywhere I looked. Rumors of the effects of the drugs on me spread to the entire floor and every panicked mother was taking their children off the Morphine. Yes, my geeky mind on drugs caused a minor bit of anarchy in the hospital. Naturally I'm proud but I wouldn't want to repeat it.
My thoughts on Hygiene:
I take a shower every day and remain as clean as I can. I don't like wearing a lot of make up every day but I also don't like to look completely sloppy. Weird personal fact: when I'm sick I still shower, get dressed and try to exercise. I feel like sickness is partially psychosomatic, if you act sick and look sick, you remain ill longer. I also don't eat pudding, jello or drink tea.
My thoughts on Fitness:
I like to stay healthy, exercise at least once a day and stay in reasonable shape. I try not to judge especially if a guy is only getting in shape to win a girl than once she's trapped, plans to let himself go. To clarify, changing yourself to suit the demands of the opposite gender is not good. You change to please yourself and no one else. Yes, I heard this tidbit during that night of drinking. Somethings guys should not tell girls even if they are just friends.
My thoughts on Fashion:
I'm not against fashion though I don't have the figure to be truly fashionable. I'm a little eclectic, a lot of jewel tones and saturated colors and I avoid pastels like the plague.
