I'm no good at these...

Well, hi everyone! My name is Sam, and I'm trying out some of the geek dating sites on the web for the first time. I've been in one or two relationships before, but never with a 'geek', so I'm eager to see how things work out here!

I suppose I'll just say a few random things about myself and in general.

I've been a nerd all my life, and I've always enjoyed everything that's associated with the culture, from sci-fi to video games, fantasy to computers, and anime to history. Despite that though, I've never worn my nerdyness on my sleeve, like some people do. I don't conceal the fact that I like these things, but nor do I go around with a "the cake is a lie" shirt.

I always stay open-minded, and constant encourage others to do the same. You'll never have fun if you don't step outside your comfort zone, and even if you don't enjoy it, you'll at least have a great story to tell afterwards.

I have plenty of 'normal' interests as well. I love to watch Football and Basketball, and go do everyday 'guy stuff'. There's nothing that can replace getting shitfaced with your friends on the weekend, and waking up wondering what you did last night.

Anyway, I guess that's enough for a brief intro. I look forward to getting to know you! Send me a message or something, however this site works! =D

I am:

My social life:

Currently rather boring, as I'm staying at home to work in order to go back to school next year, and all of my friends are off at school. Usually quite a blast tho, I love all my friends.

My insides:

Squishy, brimming with red blood cells, and all functioning properly.

My outsides:

6", in pretty good shape, I run 5m three times a week and lift. No tats, piercings, etc (I've just never really wanted to get one; I couldn't care less if others have them)

Occupation:

Right now, I'm a part-time student and a host at UNOs.

Other stuff about me:

I love economics. It's more than a study on how Wall St works -- real economics could be described as advanced societal modeling and applied social science. It can also explain why just about everything happens the way it does.

Schools Attended:

NNHS, BC & H-SC

Places you've worked:

restaurant host, house painter, contractor and canvasser

My interests, hobbies, obsessions:

Nerdy wise, I'm big into gaming, anime/manga and computers. Additionally, I love to cook, discuss politics / economics and work out.

Education Level:
Some College
I would like to meet:

I'm just hoping to meet another nerd, who I click with. Dating people who can't enjoy or respect your hobbies is no fun, but at the same time, chemistry is an important element of any relationship.

My family:

I love them all! I have just one little brother, and my mom and dad.

Your thoughts in a nutshell
My thoughts on Smoking:

I don't smoke tobacco, except when drinking heavily.

My thoughts on Religion:

Secular, but I still attend synagogue for holy days; it's a great spiritual experience. I could describe myself a as Jewish-Deist.

My thoughts on Politics:

Libertarian. I'm also informed and opinionated, but I always try to avoid political debates, unless I get dragged into them. You should be free to think what you want without someone yelling at you that you're wrong.

My thoughts on Pets:

I love dogs! Never had a cat.

My thoughts on Kids:

Eventually, I'd like some.

My thoughts on Alcohol:

It's a pretty cool thing. For the weekends.

My thoughts on Diet:

Another important part of life. You feel better when you're in shape, and dieting is the best way to shed those extra pounds.

My thoughts on Drugs:

They're awesome. I love ganj.

My thoughts on Hygiene:

Um...do it? Being unhygienic is gross.

My thoughts on Fitness:

I'm working on getting back into the shape I was in when I wrestled. You feel better being in good shape.

My thoughts on Fashion:

I'm no expert, but I have a fair sense of it, and always try to look good. There's no reason to ware ugly clothes.
