Hi, my name is Jon, I'm 27 as of writing this. I am obviously a Lord of the Rings fan. I enjoy Doctor Who and Stargate a lot as well. I cosplay on rare occasions as The 11th Doctor. I work as a computer repair technician in the DC region (primarily Northern Virginia). I used to be able to play the Double Bass, but have not played in so long that I likely couldn't anymore.

I help run a group of geeks that meet monthly and discuss a geek topic, then play board games until late in the evening.

As a geek, I am in Near Mint Off Card condition when it comes to dating, I am a low level, but have earned some exp over the years.

I get together with a small group of friends every week for dinner and drinks, I also help run a group of geeks that discuss a different topic every month (like a book club).

I generally hear that I am humorous, and I like to think of myself as very loyal to my friends/loved-ones.

6 foot tall, longish hair (comes just to above my shoulder, think Matt Smith), skinny with a bit of a belly, white with a few freckles here and there.

I fix computers, and help people with working computers learn how to use them.

I dabble in computer graphics, mostly photoshoping stuff...though some original design work. I also dabble in website development, but only rudimentary stuff.

My thoughts on Smoking: 

I will smoke socially, on occasion.

My thoughts on Religion: 

I was raised southern baptist, but abandoned that as soon as I was able to make my own decisions on the subject. I am agnostic at the moment (leaning more and more toward atheism).

My thoughts on Politics: 

I am generally middle of the road, though the democrats have swayed me the last few elections...

My thoughts on Pets: 

I have a cat (Nazgul) and enjoy dogs. I am not a fan of reptiles in general...

My thoughts on Kids: 

kids...I think I'd like to have some someday...not anytime soon though.

My thoughts on Alcohol: 

I drink a socially, and never to the drunk phase. I enjoy meade and hard cider, certain craft beers, and mixed drinks.

My thoughts on Diet: 

I eat a lot of fast food and microwavable food due to my work schedule. I try to stop eating when I am sated though, rarely eating more than I have to.

My thoughts on Drugs: 

I have dabbled in weed, back in college, never did much, and haven't since.

My thoughts on Hygiene: 

i generally appear clean and try to smell nice. I hate when my hair gets messy, though not to the point where I am always fixing it.

My thoughts on Fitness: 

I wish I worked out more, but my schedule is too hectic to get a good routine started, so I generally don't. Biking and hiking are fun though. I enjoyed fencing when I did that for a few months.

My thoughts on Fashion: 

I am almost always found in jeans, and either a polo shirt or a geeky t-shirt. fezes are cool, bowties are cool.
