Got finished playing some multiplayer starcraft 2 with a friend and popped in to check up on whats going on on the site. Not a thing it seems! Even with all the like minded folks playing games, reading comic books or regular books (i do not discriminate), still i have not seen a ton of activity. Maybe i'm just not looking hard enough hehe. In any case I can't say that i'm full on geek as i'm rather well rounded. I would say i'm not afraid to get my hands dirty but sometimes I am. Really it depends on if i'm in the mood to or not. Sometimes i'm very conservative other times i'm adventurous and my friends' reactions to me are usually one of shock or just awestruck. My geekness varies from time to time. Some days i'm jonesing to play some magic the gathering and (or) just build decks. Other days I'm all about checking out the newest movie. Sometimes I wanna be out in the sun going kayaking or hanging out with friends. I really do cover a wide area of interests so i can't really pigeon hold myself. With the exception of not having a huge interesting in competitive sports. None competitive ok. I'm here like many hoping to meet a significant other in the hopes that there is a chemistry and things take off. Nothing earth shattering in the way of typical desires and wants from a persons life. Finding it thought i posing much harder and patience trying than ever of course. What about everyone else how goes life and other interests you may have?

Your not alone, I haven't seen much activity on here either. I don't know if its because its summer or what. By the way, I'm Leeann, I'm new here. Its nice to meet you. :)

Whats up Leeann, maybe we can shake the webs of cob from some of the folks on and here and spark some more talk. :) I'm trying to be more active here on the forums than just my profile check and forget sorta thing. I just read what I wrote again as it was a few months ago and damn I think I wrote that nicely hehehe. Maybe it is because it is summer but c'mon 5 min to check things isn't much. hehehe.

I know what you guys mean I

I know what you guys mean I check in here every so often and I see lots of signups but wonder how much more activity happens beyond that. I'm always glad to talk with folks around the world that I have things in common with, but I noticed that there aren't that many active accounts in my area of Nor Cal. Would love to see some ideas on how this site can grow.

Personaly I think that you just need more people to traffic the site and participate. But in order for folks to participate you need some sort of personal incentive for people to do that. At least in my humble opinion. My incentive is to meet people and who knows maybe even someone I may end up dating. Gotta keep my potentials open where ever they are ;)
