HEY PEOPLE! THERE'S A CHAT ROOM!

HEY, EVERYONE!
 
Now that I've gotten your attention - do you see that green tab near the top of your panel that says "CHAT"?
 
When you click it, it says "Flash Video Chat." But don't let that scare you off. The point of this post is to say...
 
COME ON IN! The water's fine!
 

1. You don't need a webcam or a microphone to chat.
2. There aren't that many people in the rooms these days - mostly because (I think) people are on the same page as I was when I saw "Flash Video Chat" - oh god I need a webcam/microphone/I don't want a whole bunch of people to see me/hear me/whatever...

Again, COME ON IN! Let me ask you something -  do you remember the days of AIM chat rooms? (I sure do!) Do you remember how fun some of them could be?
 
WELL...HOW FUN WOULD IT BE TO FIND A ROOM FULL OF AWESOME PEOPLE WHO ARE ALMOST GUARANTEED TO HAVE SOMETHING IN COMMON WITH YOU THAT YOU COULD GO ON FOR HOURS ABOUT? (And when will I stop writing this announcement in all caps? Why can't threads have a huge ol' microphone setting where Microsoft Sam yells out the entire post?)
 
The more people we can get in here, the more fun we are going to have! I promise! Especially for people who have an easier time getting to know other people by encountering them in a group setting, even if this is the 'net! GEEKS UNITE!
 
CLICK CHAT, THEN OPEN CHAT IN POPUP, THEN FIND A ROOM WHERE THERE ARE PEOPLE AND COME CHAT WITH US! If you're not completely satisfied, then go make your own room and invite us. Pretty please?
