Great Sassy Molassy.
Howdy, I am Nicki. I am addicted to books and reading. More specifically of the Science Fiction/Fantasy genre. I play computer games because console joysticks mock me. I play table top games and D&D (3.5 and 4.0). I love conventions and usually end up volunteering for no good reason. For the last couple of years I have been one of the Photography flying monkeys at Phoenix Comicon and love every moment of it. (If you are in the area, totally worth it). I have an unhealthy attraction to glitter and things that sparkle. I lust after pretty make up, and use the excuse of my dancing to buy it. I have been a belly dancer for 10 years and just starting picking up burlesque. I love to take pictures of people and I love taking pin up shots of women. Women who have no idea how beautiful they are can be some of the most photogenic people to work with. I am a master at the double stick and fiber (knitting) but the Single hook evades me. I costume and love the Steampunk look ( I don't care how over played it is), I love the corsetry that goes along with it.
So that is a thing slice of me. So um. Hello.
Naw, using plaroids is old school, I am surprised you can find film anymore. I used to take them myself of the people I worked with. Then they stopped making the black and white film. Bastards.
Polaroid film was really hard to find, and expensive, a few years ago, but all of a sudden they were at every camera shop around at a decent price. I loved photography class at college, playing around with different chemicals to get different effects. Any where we could see your photos?
I had to hunt down film for Lou Ferrigno at a convention a couple years back. It was trying to find a yeti in a blizzard. And there are several places to find my photography, at least my digital stuff, I need to scan my film negatives in. My professional website doesn't have a whole lot on it but you can get a glimpse at http://www.moniquereddy.com/ I badly need to update it.

Very awesome, especially the one of the man titled "JT." Also, it kicks ass that you get to be part of the photography team at Comicon. Colour me jealous :D :D !!
Not really anything special :) you just have to be a semi decent photojournalist photographer. I call it gonzo photography. Then ask nicely. I have been on the team for Phoenix Comicon since they started it. It is awesome to be able to see the guests up close and personal, but it is a ton of work. I am super short so i usually have to reacquisition a chair to stand on so I can see the stage better. That means a lot of standing up, sitting down, kneeling and crawling. But it is a good time.

You could invest in a pair of attachment stilts, then you'd have the upper hand on almost everyone!
I heard someone say once that LeVar Burton is wicked short, and I've always wondered about that since for some reason.

Howdy! I have a fascination with taking polaroids of random people I see. That makes me sound kind of like a Ted Bundy fanboy :o !
