I have the heart and soul of a gentleman who believes in true love, romance, and eternal friendship. I am born a paladin of honor and truth, yet have the grey soul of a warrior. I seek to find those individuals who would share my love of life, nature, and the outside world.

I enjoy a good book, the internet, computers, I do NOT play World of Warcraft [though I have many friends who do, and can understand it], I have taken the time to know of me and found that I enjoy camping. I enjoy the outdoors and being among people in a crowd of friends doing things together.

I am the ubergeek. One may find me behind the scenes at the local convention, be it Comics, Scifi/fantasy, Doctor Who, Anime, or others. I am the one that volunteers for unbelievably long hours [Energy Drinks are my friend], and then goes and does even more. I have managed to save the 3000 scifi/fantasy books in my bedroom, the 8500 comic books, and the 1500 manga/anime books from the variety of girlfriends that have attempted to change me.

I can be considered the one that loves to play video games, but when a beautiful woman walks into the room and requests a moment of my time....the video game can wait, the person is much more real. :)

I worked for 20 years in various fields, and discovered that I like the concept of actually making more than a base wage, that I want to be able to provide for not only myself, but others as well. So I'm back at school now, and majoring in Teen/Family Counseling. Currently attending at Portland State University for that degree.

I hang out with folks that volunteer and run conventions, parties, and other fun things. My guild on SW:TOR is filled with even more gamers, and I interact with LARPers on a daily basis. Call me the ubergeek. :)

My insides: 

I'm a paladin, a guy who always does the right thing. Who looks out for his friends and makes sure that they have fun with one another. I'mt he guy that always ends up doing the designated driving, or likes to make sure that his friends are in safe locations, or things like that. I'm known as a safe place to crash, or someone who can be counted on when the chips are down.

My outsides: 

incredibly obvious irish/scottish/norse/swedish mix [Caucasian, light skin that burns in sunlight easily, freckles, red beard, blonde/red hair, keep getting mistaken for Penn of Penn/Teller. Overweight, but steadily losing.

Occupation: 

Full-Time Student at PSU.

Other stuff about me: 

I don't live in my parent's basement, I live in the home I bought 12 years ago, currently looking at buying a house, and hoping to find someone [eventually] to share it with, buy furniture, paint the walls, etc. I take valuable lessons from things I've learned in time.

anime, card games, cartoons, comics, computers, fantasy & sci/fi, movies, harry potter, hitchhiker's guide. Monty python, online gaming, music, doctor who, star trek, star wars...scifi/fantasy cons, anime cons, etc.

I would like to meet: 

Being a hopeless romantic means a great many things, and I've been known to wear my heart on my sleeve. So I seek the woman who desires to come jump through puddles, or stand out in the rain as it splashes on our faces. The one who will come camping with me and listen to the noises of the forest around us as we cuddle together in our sleeping bags. Who can understand that when I'm with them, I'm only with them, not with anyone else. That children and family will always come first in my life, even though I don't have any of my own - because of the way that I grew up.

I seek someone who understands my love of Star Trek, Star Wars, Doctor Who, Anime, Managa, Video Games, Computers, Scifi/Fantasy, Comic Books, SCA, Renaissance Fairs, Pirates, and most importantly.....costuming.

My thoughts on Smoking: 

I don't smoke.

My thoughts on Religion: 

Baptised, Confirmed, and Communion as Christian [Irish Catholic Mother]. Pagan/Druid background from great-grandfather, I believe in the world above, and the places we live in.

My thoughts on Politics: 

I don't do politics, I grew up in the life.

My thoughts on Pets: 

Owned dogs, cats, and love them both.

My thoughts on Kids: 

Love kids. that's why I'm going into Child/Family program at PSU, eventual Masters degree in Counseling, Licensed Marriage/Family Therapist.

My thoughts on Alcohol: 

I drink when someone else has the keys, I'm in a safe place, and among friends.

My thoughts on Diet: 

See above comments on healthy diet/exercise.

My thoughts on Drugs: 

I don't do drugs.

My thoughts on Hygiene: 

Showering every day is a good thing. Brushing the teeth is important. I highly approve of bushing out the snarls every few days.

My thoughts on Fitness: 

I work out 3-4/week, walk 30-40 min/day, and I'm on a healthy died.

I create my own fashion.
