So hey, the names Greg. c: I figure I should mention that I have 3/4" ear gauges, and plan on getting a couple tattoos. The tattoos I've drawn all have special significance to me, so yeah. Im also a massive gamer nerd. Im attending college, with a major in Multimedia Design. I tend to be a little quiet when meeting new people at first, cant lie. Also, I like adventures (like walking around in the woods, and exploring creepy old buildings). Basically, I like anything that can creep me out or make me laugh. But its tough to beat a lazy, rainy day where I can just boot up the laptop or PS3 and play half the day away, wrapped in a blanket. ;D Welluh, idk what else to say, cept I suck at these "About Me" things. So ask me stuff?
I am a recently seperated guy in his mid-thirties who is searching for the right person to love. I am extremely shy and awkward, but can be quite funny, kind, thoughtful, and affectionate once you get to know me. I am also romantic and love to do various gestures to show my love whether it be a simple love note, a text, or something large like a get away to some far away new place.
I do enjoy spending quiet moments in home either watching a movie or reading a book, but at the same time love to go out and see what the world has to offer. Often I like to go on spur of the moment road trips or just go to a new restuarant or a place I have never been just for the adventure and experience of it all.
I love films of all kinds, but lean towards classic or campy horror and science fiction films. As for TV I am a fan of Doctor Who both clasic and new, as well as The Big Bang Theory, Dexter, Sherlock, Ghost Hunters, Ghost Adventures, and anything that is food related like The Layover. I do like documentaries as well.
I like music of all sorts of genres. As long as it sounds good to my ears, I like it. I am also a avid listener to tons of podcasts incluidng Tank Riot, WTF, Nerdist, and The Indoor Kids.
The books I read tend to lean more towards non-fiction such as autobiographies or biographies and anything that has to do with the behind-the-scenes of a movie or a TV show. Howeve, I do read mysteries, pulp novels, horror, and the ocassional science-fiction or fantasy book here and there.
I am also a foodie and I like to go to many restuarants and other assorted places to learn and taste all kinds of foods from all over the world. I do love to cook and bake and it always pleases me to cook anything for those that I love. In fact I plan on entering a culinary school sometime this year to further expand my passion. It is my dream that one day I would meet someone who would want to cook a meal alongside me.
I am a creative person as well, and I like making things whether it be a simple paper mache sculpture, a drawing, a painting, or a prop for a film, and sometimes even puppets. I do also write and make films from time to time.
I do light exercise at least three times a week to stay healthy. Although, I cannot describe myself as a health-nut or jock. In fact, I should make it clear that I do not like sports or anything outdoorsy such as hiking or camping.
I am not like many men out there. I prefer to see what a woman is like beyond her looks. I am the type that yearns to just to cuddle or hold hands more than anything else.
That is me in a nutshell, really. I am always a honest person and at the most I would like to be able to just to talk to someone and maybe form a relationship from there.
I should also be upfront and say that I do not like anime, Star Wars, or comic books. I do like the ocassional graphic novel here and there, but I lost interest in comics during the 90's. I do like video games, Borderlands is one of my top fave games, and finding a girl gamer would be a huge plus. I do not like table-top role-playng games however.
Hi! I'm Sam. I'm very shy until I get to know someone, so I have a lot of trouble meeting people and getting to know them at first. Mostly because of this I've never had a boyfriend or done any other romantic activity. My hobbies are reading, drawing, surfing the internet, watching tv, and listening to music. I'm a real nerd, lol, and enjoy watching anime, reading manga, and pretty much anything that is in a foreign language (if it has English subtitles of course :D). I listen to a lot of music, and a lot of it is foreign as well, because I just really like the sound of foreign languages. I dye my hair a lot, because I like to be fun and unique, and my hair is something I can change without it being too permanent if I don't like it. I'm a very "go with the flow" person, and its hard to find a movie that I don't enjoy, or a book I don't like, or an activity that I won't at least try. One of my biggest fears is heights, and because of this I've never been on a roller coaster before ever. I like to travel a lot, and to try new things. I'm a very open minded person, and am very accepting of all beliefs and lifestyles. I also try to be a very optimistic person. I feel that you should go through life happy, and that there is a silver lining to every situation, even if it can't be seen at first. I'm sure i've left some stuff out, but I think i've got all the main stuff out there, and if anyone wants to know more feel free to message me and ask! thank you! <3
Hello. I am James. I'm pretty shy and awkward around people in real life. I consider myself a downer. I love jokes and insults in the spirit of humor. Star Wars is definitely my favorite sci-fi saga ever. Umm, I'm very inclined toward school and maybe am a little out of touch with people. I refer excessively to memes and love history. I am odd but not like niche odd; I am a mainstream loner who has an opinion on everything. I try to be nice and intellectual/mature for my age. I freely admit being a nooby layman at everything.
I'm just a simple guy looking for that one girl that I have a lot in common with. Who likes to sit down at night and watch a good show instead of going to clubs and stuff like that.
I'll add more to this later on, but if you have any questions just ask me.
I'm Staci. I'm a senior in college, majoring in biology. I would love to work in a zoo or wildlife refuge because I love animals. Or possibly be a librarian, because I love learning and researching. There is always more to learn.
Imagine Daria Morgendorffer from the MTV classic Daria, and Greg Montgomery from the ABC comedy Dharma & Greg. Put them both in a blender and blend. What do you get? Me.On the one side, I can relate to the sarcastic, cynical, and "realistic" nature exhibited by Daria, yet, I also identify with the structured, organized, and prudent life of the character Greg Montgomery. So, here's a break down of the important aspects about me:- I have been told by my former female college public speaking instructor that I am exceptionally classy, and that I am the epitome of the "classy southern woman" that poems are written about. I have yet to find and read one of these poems.- I have also been described by others as "articulate", "intelligent", "tenacious", "hard working", "dedicated", "consistent", "analytical", and "very bright". You may want to wear sunglasses.- I would further describe myself as punctual, organized, patient, strong, diligent, driven, polite, sincere, dorky, responsible, and dependable.- I am a bit shy when it comes to meeting new people. Just bring an ice pick and let's break some ice. I will come around in no time.- I am a gamer girl. I find enjoyment in playing video and computer games such as Fatal Frame (I-III), DDR, CSI, Dragon Quest, Halo, Sims 2, and Farmville.
- I LOVE gadgets, applications, extensions, and new programs for my computer (not my phone... which is basically from the dinosaur age when cameras and mp3 players were the new technology of the time). My latest hobby is searching for the most creative and useful downloads and installs. Gadgets make me happy! :)- I am the person you meet on day one. What you see is what you get. Take it or leave it. I am not one of those individuals that puts on a facade at the beginning of any relationship in order to portray them self as perfect in the eyes of their partner. I’m not perfect; I’m only human.- I refuse to put my name on anything that has been done half-assed. If I invest any amount of time into a project, it will be thoroughly completed. (Even if it means painting an area that will never be seen by others.)- Sometimes, I like to just act like a kid again and have fun. I have been known to go to the park and just plop down in the sandbox and play, climb the nets, hang out in the wooden forts, or swing from the monkey bars.- I don't feel the need to be "completed". I make my own life. I am simply looking for someone to enjoy spending time with. In this instance, I would like to find a like-minded individual, one who wants me to be a part of their life, not someone that needs me to complete it.- I am extremely open-minded with an ability to accept people for who and what they are. In my opinion, there is no point, under any circumstance, in trying to change or alter somebody into something or somebody they are not.MY FAVORITES:Books: True crime novels, books pertaining to the process and methodology of crime scene investigation and lab work, and mangas. I also enjoy the play A Doll's House by Henrik Ibsen, and the story The Missing Piece by Shel Silverstein.Movies: I prefer comedy, romance, or drama films. My two favorite films are Sliding Doors and Merlin (the Sam Neill version), though I also enjoy such movies as Roman Holiday (Audrey Hepburn is awesome!), Breakfast at Tiffany's (again, awesome Audrey Hepburn), Love + Hate, the Anne of Green Gables trilogy, Matchmaker, The Girl Next Door, Memoirs of a Geisha, Because I Said So, According to Greta, and Easy A.Shows: I love to watch Britcoms such as Are You Being Served, Waiting for God, Vicar of Dibley, Fawlty Towers, Keeping Up Appearances, As Time Goes By, and Mr. Bean. Aside from the aforementioned Britcoms, I also enjoy such shows as Daria, Veronica Mars, How I Met Your Mother, Hot in Cleveland, House M. D., Dharma and Greg, Charmed, Packed to the Rafters (bonus points for those who know anything about this show without having to look it up on a search engine), History channel documentaries, Dr. G: Medical Examiner, Mystery ER, and forensic shows such as Cold Case Files and Forensic Files. I do not care for fictional investigative shows such as Cold Case, CSI (anywhere), or Criminal Minds. I enjoy the comedy of Gabriel Iglesias and Dane Cook.Music: My favorite artists/bands are Travis, Tori Amos, Garbage, Sarah Brightman, and Stabbing Westward. I tend to gravitate more towards music of the 80's and 90's. I can tolerate many genres of music, but generally I do not care for country, rap, r&b, and hip-hop. Food: Chinese, Mexican, and seafood. Fried okra. It is comfort food for me.
Looking for a pen pal, email or snail mail. I live in BFE, a few parsects past nowhere. I like discussing the origins of man, Star Trek TOS, the end of the world, and natural science topics. I am athletic, and like to run and lift weights. I am an arts and crafts enthusiast, both meanings. My bedroom is painted like a space ship.
