So hey, the names Greg. c: I figure I should mention that I have 3/4" ear gauges, and plan on getting a couple tattoos. The tattoos I've drawn all have special significance to me, so yeah. Im also a massive gamer nerd. Im attending college, with a major in Multimedia Design. I tend to be a little quiet when meeting new people at first, cant lie. Also, I like adventures (like walking around in the woods, and exploring creepy old buildings). Basically, I like anything that can creep me out or make me laugh. But its tough to beat a lazy, rainy day where I can just boot up the laptop or PS3 and play half the day away, wrapped in a blanket. ;D Welluh, idk what else to say, cept I suck at these "About Me" things. I am easy going and really interested at making people happy. I am a total geek I love Star Wars, Role playing games, sci-fi, board games, video games and the like, I see myself as a creative and open minded individual. What I want out of life is to find someone to share it with, who gets me and accepts me and all of my weirdness. Then to grow old with that person and have kids along the way as family is very important to me. Keep in mind I do not want this now, maybe in 5 years, what I want is to a like minded woman who also wants to take things slow so that our relationship is unbreakable. I love sitting down to read or watch a movie or show with a nice warm cup of tea, I don't drink soda though I wouldn't hold it against you if you did. I have strong beliefs though I am willing to change my mind if the evidence and arguments are compelling enough, i love good debates. My religious views are that I do not like organized religions as I see it making good people do bad things for flimsy justifications, though I keep those thoughts to myself, friends and my significant other. I am non religious, the detailed answer would take awhile to explain, it is hard to put someones believe in life and existence into a one word answer. I enjoy long walks with a good friend or someone I love to discuss politics, philosophy, and stuff in general. I am always willing to try something at least once. My alignment is Neutral-Good if you understand D&D. I just recently got into costume design as a hobby and I am trying to regain my art talent.

I game a lot with my friends, boardgames, card games, rpgs,video games and parties. I am usually the organizer and coordinator, which is fine with me though I do not like the jobs I get them done.

Oh I hate trying to describe myself. I love to make people laugh though I think my style is hard to pinpoint, at times I am goofy and others I am satirical and witty. I like to have fun and I don't take things too seriously, unless of course it is a serious situation. When I put my mind to something I do what it takes to get it done and I pride myself on my out of the box thinking. I am a very creative person and I don't like to limit myself so I like drawing, crafting, writing poems, singing to myself, creating stories. In relationships much like anything that I want a lot I pour myself into it, I am extremely loyal and honest and open with people. My honestly can be bad though as I say things how I see them, I am open minded and not much will bother me, but that honestly can bother people. I also have a hard time focusing on stuff unless it is as I mentioned before something I want it a lot, so I have what I call a Wikipedia brain where I have 5 different things in my head at once. My over thinking also makes it hard for me to go to sleep.

Atheist, of course its more complicated then that though. I am non-theist in the sense that I have never seen evidence of a god/gods or magical forces reveal itself to the world. until that day I will treat the world as though there is no god/gods/magical force and take comfort that anything that goes my way is because I caused it and if it doesn't then I suck it up and go again, because nothing cause it beyond something in the natural world that could be overcome unlike an all powerful force.

My thoughts on Politics: 

I enjoy talking about them though I like creative, geeky, or philosophical topics more. In general I see politics as necessary but exhausting, though I would never want to lose my right to have my voice heard and vote.

My thoughts on Pets: 

I like animals, especially cats because they are clean and relatively quiet and clean. I do not own any pets though as I have enough on my plate without worrying about a pets well being, and I would rather not own a pet then be a bad owner.

My thoughts on Kids: 

I have some younger siblings that I helped raise and though they could be a handful I enjoyed the experience. It is one of my dreams to have children with the love of my life when we are both stable and married, not before though I do not want my children growing up in difficult times.

I probably drink a hand full of occasions a year.

Trying to be better at this too but it is a slow process.

Not into drugs at all, even if they where legal, don't like the idea of taking something designed to mess my brain up.

Friendship, a shared sense of humor and curiosity. Secret shared smiles. Crossword puzzles on a rainy morning. Eating with our fingers and laughing. All good things in time.

I read too much King Arthur as a kid and now I've got a chivalry complex. I've tried dousing it in curiosity and wry, silly observations, but the boyscout always tends to come out.

I like music, but don't have a soundtrack to my life. I listen more to NPR (RadioLab, This American Life, Wait Wait, Car Talk, The Big Broadcast) and audiobooks. Say Anything is still one of the best romances ever written. I wanted to be Lloyd Dobler when I grew up. Or a Ghostbuster.

I've found myself trying lots of things: climbing, biking, running, swimming, camping, ice-climbing, scuba diving... still waiting for that skydiving invite... "Yes" is usually the first answer, followed by "Wait... what did I just say yes to?"

I seem to be attracted to quirky or eclectic or introspective. Definitely to creative. Layers, too, the best stories have unexpected turns and beautiful surprises. Maybe shy, maybe just cautious to start, or even mysterious, but then the moment happens and there's a little magic... and that secret shared smile.

Three drops of crazy doesn't hurt either.

My thoughts on Smoking: 

I smoke sometimes (curse you, "Wings of Desire"!), so I don't judge. I do not smoke inside, around kids, or near propane tanks.

My thoughts on Religion: 

Whatever gives you strength can be beautiful. Get three or more people who believe the same together, though, and I start to itch. Any "us" creates, by default, a "them". And then you get thousands of years of war. And a zombie apocalypse one of these days, I'm sure.

My thoughts on Politics: 

Fascinating topic of conversation as long as there is little emotion involved. I tend to skew liberal (all social justice-y and such). I have learned the better part of valor when dealing with fanatics of any stripe, however, is to walk away.

My thoughts on Pets: 

Love cats, like dogs, meh on lizards. If you have a pet raven, I need to learn that trick.

My thoughts on Kids: 

I love kids. Great excuse to play with Legos and Lincoln Logs and not have anyone else in the room think twice about it.

All things in moderation. Especially vodka. Moderation is, of course, completely situational.

Healthy-ish. There is usually a better choice that tastes fine. Why do the smart people seem to be the ones eating the stupid food?

My brother fell off a 3 story roof and paralyzed himself back in 1990. He was on drugs. Anything that doesn't hurt someone else is fine with me, but it makes me really uncomfortable to be around it.

Messy is fine, perhaps even creative. Dirty is gross.

My thoughts on Fitness: 

Being active makes me feel better, so I do it as often as possible. It's a fairly big part of my free time, so I'd like to find someone else who enjoys it, too.

I have been playing games since the time I could hold an Atari joystick. I love RPGs, fighting, and horror games. While I do like to play FPS's, I somehow have achieved a new level of lack of coordination that has reached the virtual world. I adore the Final Fantasy series, Suikoden, World of Warcraft, and LoZ in particular.

When it comes to the noisebox, I'll watch just about anything science fiction, fantasy, horror, anime, cartoon, slasher/gore, documentary or comedy based. Emotional romantic tear-jerker chick flicks annoy me to no end along with tacky soap operas and poorly staged 'reality' tv.

My taste in books mirrors that of my television preferences! Frank Herbert's "Dune" and Anne Rice's "Servant of the Bones" being two of my favorites.

Hi,
I'm new to the Seattle scene, though I've wanted to move here for years. I attended my first PAX this year and just finally got out here in October. I'm still floating around looking for cool places to hang out or visit.
I'm a professional chef, gamer, and tech enthusiast. I've spent the last 9 years concentrating on my career and have sadly fallen behind on current programming, anime, and gaming scene. I'm hoping to catch up a bit out here.
I can cook a 5-course meal while GM-ing a Pathfinder game, I'm a huge Final Fantasy addict (my favorites are 8 and Tactics. I think 7 lacks a lot; feel free to debate me), I cut my teeth on the original Dragon Quest, and I had Transformers before they were transformers. I collect the new classics versions as well. I can't live without my android phone and I'm planning on getting an ASUS slider soon.
