So hey, the names Greg. c: I figure I should mention that I have 3/4" ear gauges, and plan on getting a couple tattoos. The tattoos I've drawn all have special significance to me, so yeah. Im also a massive gamer nerd. Im attending college, with a major in Multimedia Design. I tend to be a little quiet when meeting new people at first, cant lie. Also, I like adventures (like walking around in the woods, and exploring creepy old buildings). Basically, I like anything that can creep me out or make me laugh. Hmm, well it is hard to talk about yourself, I always feel like so self centered. I enjoy a good laugh, a good time with friends, and a hearty drink. I am complete and total geek. (I mean the whole package, Star Wars, anime, video games, former WoW player.) Yet I love sports, I played basketball in high school and go to the gym a couple times a week. (See! Not all geeks are the same! I am currently working as a bartender and also as the writer of a webcomic. I plan on finishing my degree in biology with a focus on human genetics. Right now it is simply the question of saving up the money. I would prefer not to be paying off student loans for the next 20 years. But I can't tell you everything, I gotta leave some things to the imagination.

Hey there! I'm Aron! I'm 27 years old, and I'm the coolest, hottest, most awesome geek you'll ever meet!

Let's see...how can I introduce myself. Well, I'm pretty amazing. Yeah, I would have to say that I am probably one of the most awesome people ever. And I'm TOTALLY humble about it.

As you can probably tell, I have an AMAZING sense of humor! No but seriously, I'm a really nice guy, a sweetheart at heart and a romantic, though sometimes my...uniqueness can get in the way. Some would say I have a dirty mind. Not all the time...just...when it's appropriate. Like swearing. (I swear, when it's appropriate. The whole point of swearing is that it AIN'T appropriate!)(Bonus points if you can tell me where that's from!)

Ok so about the Geek me. Oh yeah, so I'm a geek, self-proclaimed and proud of it. What makes me a geek? Well I'm very passionate about my...passions. The things that interest me, I'm really into them. You could basically say I'm a sci-fi/fantasy geek; I guess that would be the best classification. But see below.

I LOVE Star Wars, like so much so that I was once told that I eat, drink, and breathe it. Not THAT much...but I did destroy my parents in Star Wars Trivial Pursuit...3 wedges before either of them got to take even a SINGLE turn.

I also love Firefly and Serenity, and pretty much anything Joss Whedon. I mean who doesn't? Who can't? The man is a freakin' genius! If you're not familiar, don't worry, I'll introduce you to him.

In terms of books, Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter are my all time favs. I'm into fantasy. Deal with it.

Speaking of fantasy, I play Dungeons & Dragons. Well, it's TECHNICALLY Pathfinder, but let's just call it D&D.

Oh, and I play a lot of video games. I am currently entrenched in the struggle for the galaxy between the Galactic Republic and Sith Empire in Star Wars: The Old Republic. But don't worry. It doesn't eat up TOO much of my time. You are still WAY more important.

I don't...I prefer you don't...killing yourself faster, I think. But it's not a deal breaker.

I used to think Organized Religion was a Cult. Now, I don't have a problem with it. I SUPPORT religion, just don't necessarily practice it.

I like to believe in a philosophy, a way of thinking. Yes, I'll admit, I do like to consider my religion "Jedi," but that's not really accurate. Technically I'm Jewish, though I don't practice, I do support the Jewish faith and struggle, etc.

I like the idea of Balance in the Universe; The Force, Tao/Daoism, Buddhaism, whatever you want to call it. I like to believe that there is Good and Bad in the Universe, and it exists in balance and harmony, and when it gets out of balance, that's when things start to get crazy.

My thoughts on Politics:

Politics, shmolotics. I believe in Freedom, and what is best for the PEOPLE. Though it is hard to exist without politics.

Ok, ok, so I'm TECHNICALLY a Democrat. But it doesn't bother me, I don't really give much thought to politics to be honest with you.

My thoughts on Pets:

I love animals! I had a dog for a LONG time, a VERY long time. He was like...17, 18, 19 years old. Phred. Most of my life I remember having him...but I probably got him when I was like, 9 or 10. He was my dad's dog (since Dad was the Alpha), but I always called him my dog.

Yes it is in the past tense. We were forced to say goodbye to Phred just over a year ago, after he became seriously ill. Well...he was supposed to die like two or three years prior to that, but with some medicine and love, he hung on. It was like a miracle! But he started to get worse about two years ago, and eventually he just couldn't really like...live. It wasn't fair. And then he got a significant infection on his head, and there was no way to heal it. I wasn't home, but my parents told me.

He was my first, and so far, only pet, and he was my brother. I will always love him.

Wow, that was depressing. I'm so sorry. Moving on...

I want them someday...Kaylee...Anakin...you know, geeky names.

Social Drinker...not opposed to it, just don't do it that often. Maybe I just need to get out and party more...though as a teacher it gets hard.

Keeping good eating habits is essential...though I don't always follow it...how come the best tasting foods are always the worst for you?!

Are we talking legal or illegal? Legal drugs are very useful. Illegal drugs (or legal drugs abused) are strictly opposed...and stupid.
Except for one. If you smoke pot, I don't have a problem with it, as long as it's not like...an addiction.

Hygiene is Mandatory! Failure to keep good hygiene is treasonous! (Bonus points if you can tell me where that's from!)

I signed up to this site because it's so difficult making friends in real life without talking to them online first, but there's limited ways to do that.

Most sites are filled with people who only want to sleep around with people they don't care about, and start a conversation with "Hey sexy", with no respect for the person they're talking to. =[ As soon as someone says that, you know they don't care about you as a person, they only want to get in your knickers.

I don't like talking to people like that, I like talking to nice people. =D Who want to talk about how they are and their views on life, who share a passion for computers. If you're on this site, you've obviously ticked that box. =P

I can be random, I'm a chocoholic with a big sweet tooth, but I try not to over-do it. =P I love Sims 3 but I've been playing it on and off. I also quite like Atelier Rorona: Alchemist of Arland (it's an amine game my friend introduced me to). I also quite like using proper grammar when I can help it. Geeky acronyms are a must, but things like mispellings due to laziness of having a type a whole extra letter or two, omg =O, are just plain stupid. Shorter versions of words commonly used in conversation are fine. Like "cos", which is technically spelt " 'cause ", but that actually does take a lot longer.

Um... I can have my funny moments, but a lot of the time if I try to be funny it fails, lol. My sense of humour is confused, I don't always understand jokes that other people do. My weakness is chocolate.

My hair is light brown fading to dark brown/ black, due to dying my hair black about a year ago with a dye that was meant to last no more than a month, but it lasted until I've grown it out enough to have it cut off; not even Head and Shoulders budged it, only faded it very slightly. Can't wait to have my natural colour back.

My family:

I was born in London. I'm half Greek from my mum's side. She was born in Cyprus and my sister was born in Crete cos we used to live there for 5 years, but we left when she was 6 months old so she doesn't know any Greek at all. I learnt Greek from my mum and at school there, but I've forgotten most of it over 12 years since moving back to England; I should have accepted those Greek classes my mum offered me so I wouldn't forget it, but I insisted I wouldn't. -.-

My family consists of my mum, sister, Cassie the dog, Nutmeg the hamster, Candy the fish, and my boyfriend. My sister's name is Sara, she's 13. My dad is long gone, probably somewhere in London, but that's a long and sad story.

My thoughts on Smoking:

I don't like it when people smoke as it's unhealthy and there isn't any real benefit except killing yourself faster and calming yourself a bit, but the side affects extremely outweigh the benefit. And no, smoking is NOT cool.

My thoughts on Religion:

I'm an atheist, and that's that. Don't try to convince me otherwise, you will fail epically.

My thoughts on Politics:

My boyfriend loves politics, 2 of my ex's did joint degrees in it, I however don't really understand it. =[

My thoughts on Pets:

I love animals. My favourite pets are dogs and cats, I prefer larger animals, but I'm fine with small animals except snakes and arachnids. I'm scared of spiders...

My thoughts on Kids:

Kids are so adorable, especially babies, and one day I hope to become a mother, but right now is too soon.

My thoughts on Alcohol:

Alcohol is fine when consumed every now and then, not every single week or day. And I see no need to get "completely hammered", there's no need to make your kidneys fail sooner than they would normallu, as long as you're drunk then it's done it's job. I only drink until I'm drunk then I stop. But everyone has different opinions.

My thoughts on Diet:

Dieting is sometimes necessary to lose unwanted weight or fat. It's technically unhealthy going on a diet, because your body has to adjust to consuming much less calories than before and go hungry for longer than usual, but the result is usually much healthier than carrying on with the previous unhealthy lifestyle.

The best cure is always prevention, so to avoid ever having to diet, just eat healthy in the first place before it's too late. My diet choice, which technically isn't a diet but more of a lifestyle choice, is vegetarianism. Not pescatarian, not vegan, VEGETARIAN. Lacto-ovo vegetarian to be exact. So don't ask me if I eat fish, eggs, or drink milk. Research them if you don't understand and you'll know. I've told you everything you need to know if you have the right knowledge to understand the terms.

My thoughts on Drugs:

Illegal drugs and big no. However caffeine, prescription drugs and over the counter medicines which may have legal drugs in them are fine, as long as the person taking them are using them for the purpose they were intended, and no addicted to them.

My thoughts on Hygiene:

Hygiene is a tricky thing. Everyone knows the rules of how we should do it, but sometimes we break those rules because we're lazy or don't have time. I don't brush between meals and I don't floss, I've tried it and it made my gums bleed, no thanks... I shower before I go out, but if I'm not seeing anyone for a bit, forgive me if I don't want to shower. I'll shower later when it starts to bother me though.

My thoughts on Fitness:

Exercise is important to lead a healthy lifestyle, I myself only cycle and to be honest that's the only exercise I get. I like exercising, I just don't always have time for it.

My thoughts on Fashion:

Fashion isn't important to me. I couldn't care less if I'm wearing the "latest trends" or whatever, I wear what I like and tough if it's not "cool" to other people. As long as it fits, is clean, and looks decent, not hideously strang, it doesn't matter if it's 10 years old or 1 day old.

Hi! I'm Sam. I'm very shy until I get to know someone, so I have a lot of trouble meeting people and getting to know them at first. Mostly because of this I've never had a boyfriend or done any other romantic activity. My hobbies are reading, drawing, surfing the internet, watching tv, and listening to music. I'm a real nerd, lol, and enjoy watching anime, reading manga, and pretty much anything that is in a foreign language (if it has English subtitles of course :D). I listen to a lot of music, and a lot of it is foreign as well, because I just really like the sound of foreign languages. I dye my hair a lot, because I like to be fun and unique, and my hair is something I can change without it being too permanent if I don't like it. I'm a very "go with the flow" person, and its hard to find a movie that I don't enjoy, or a book I don't like, or an activity that I won't at least try. One of my biggest fears is heights, and because of this I've never been on a roller coaster before ever. I like to travel a lot, and to try new things. I'm a very open minded person, and am very accepting of all beliefs and lifestyles. I also try to be a very optimistic person. I feel that you should go through life happy, and that there is a silver lining to every situation, even if it can't be seen at first.
