Hi!

I'm Kiara. I am 19 years old, and I go to school. I'm a Secondary Ed major, and I also minor in Abnormal Psychology.

I play sports, and I play a few instruments. I've been playing guitar for 7 years, and I've been singing my whole life! Guitar is my absolute favorite.

I cheered, played soccer, and figure-skated in high school. Now, I still keep up with the squads, and play rec league soccer.

I love to read. My favorite genre is Dystopian and Utopian Literature.

I play a bunch of video games. Currently I'm completely enamored with Assassin's Creed. I love pretty much every video game I play, and I'm a little competitive when it comes to that. All of my friends come over and play, and it's so much fun!

Hi, my name is Jon, I'm 27 as of writing this. I am obviously a Lord of the Rings fan. I enjoy Doctor Who and Stargate a lot as well. I cosplay on rare occasions as The 11th Doctor. I work as a computer repair technician in the DC region (primarily Northern Virginia). I used to be able to play the Double Bass, but have not played in so long that I likely couldn't anymore.

I am easy going and really interested at making people happy. I am a total geek I love Star Wars, Role playing games, sci-fi, board games, video games and the like, I see myself as a creative and open minded individual. What I want out of life is to find someone to share it with, who gets me and accepts me and all of my weirdness. Then to grow old with that person and have kids along the way as family is very important to me. Keep in mind I do not want this now, maybe in 5 years, what I want is to a like minded woman who also wants to take things slow so that our relationship is unbreakable. I love sitting down to read or watch a movie or show with a nice warm cup of tea, I don't drink soda though I wouldn't hold it against you if you did. I have strong beliefs though I am willing to change my mind if the evidence and arguments are compelling enough, i love good debates. My religious views are that I do not like organized religions as I see it making good people do bad things for flimsy justifications, though I keep those thoughts to myself, friends and my significant other. I am non religious, the detailed answer would take awhile to explain, it is hard to put someones believe in life and existence into a one word answer. I enjoy long walks with a good friend or someone I love to discuss politics, philosophy, and stuff in general. I am always willing to try something at least once. Oh I hate trying to describe myself. I love to make people laugh though I think my style is hard to pinpoint, at times I am goofy and others I am satirical and witty. I like to have fun and I don't take things too seriously, unless of course it is a serious situation. Atheist, of course its more complicated then that though. I am non-theist in the sense that I have never seen evidence of a god/gods or magical forces reveal itself to the world. until that day I will treat the world as though there is no god/gods/magical force and take comfort that anything that goes my way is because I caused it and if it doesn't then I suck it up and go again, because nothing cause it beyond something in the natural world that could be overcome unlike an all powerful force.

My thoughts on Politics:

I enjoy talking about them though I like creative, geeky, or philosophical topics more. In general I see politics as necessary but exhausting, though I would never want to lose my right to have my voice heard and vote.

My thoughts on Pets:

I like animals, especially cats because they are clean and relatively quiet and clean. I do not own any pets though as I have enough on my plate without worrying about a pets well being, and I would rather not own a pet then be a bad owner.

I have some younger siblings that I helped raise and though they could be a handful I enjoyed the experience. It is one of my dreams to have children with the love of my life when we are both stable and married, not before though I do not want my children growing up in difficult times.

Trying to be better at this too but it is a slow process.

Hey there! I'm Aron! I'm 27 years old, and I'm the coolest, hottest, most awesome geek you'll ever meet!

Let's see...how can I introduce myself. Well, I'm pretty amazing. Yeah, I would have to say that I am probably one of the most awesome people ever. And I'm TOTALLY humble about it.

As you can probably tell, I have an AMAZING sense of humor! No but seriously, I'm a really nice guy, a sweetheart at heart and a romantic, though sometimes my...uniqueness can get in the way. Some would say I have a dirty mind. Not all the time...just...when it's appropriate. Like swearing. (I swear, when it's appropriate. The whole point of swearing is that it AIN'T appropriate!)(Bonus points if you can tell me where that's from!)

Ok so about the Geek me. Oh yeah, so I'm a geek, self-proclaimed and proud of it. What makes me a geek? Well I'm very passionate about my...passions. The things that interest me, I'm really into them. You could basically say I'm a sci-fi/fantasy geek; I guess that would be the best classification. But see below.

I LOVE Star Wars, like so much so that I was once told that I eat, drink, and breathe it. Not THAT much...but I did destroy my parents in Star Wars Trivial Pursuit...3 wedges before either of them got to take even a SINGLE turn.

I also love Firefly and Serenity, and pretty much anything Joss Whedon. I mean who doesn't? Who can't? The man is a freakin' genius! If you're not familiar, don't worry, I'll introduce you to him.

In terms of books, Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter are my all time favs. I'm into fantasy. Deal with it.

Speaking of fantasy, I play Dungeons & Dragons. Well, it's TECHNICALLY Pathfinder, but let's just call it D&D.

Oh, and I play a lot of video games. I am currently entrenched in the struggle for the galaxy between the Galactic Republic and Sith Empire in Star Wars: The Old Republic. But don't worry. It doesn't eat up TOO much of my time. You are still WAY more important.

I have two parents. They are pretty cool, even when I think they suck or are being unreasonable. They have been very supportive of me and helped me out a lot.

I have no biological siblings, but I do have three sisters whom I've adopted, looking after them. You know, I mean like we've grown close enough that I treat them as my sisters and look out for them, care about them in a big brother way...it's not that weird!

I have a couple of aunts and uncles, and several cousins, but they all live not near me. So I don't see them very often. Always wanted a bigger family.

I don't...I prefer you don't...killing yourself faster, I think. But it's not a deal breaker.

My thoughts on Religion:

I used to think Organized Religion was a Cult. Now, I don't have a problem with it. I SUPPORT religion, just don't necessarily practice it.

I like to believe in a philosophy, a way of thinking. Yes, I'll admit, I do like to consider my religion "Jedi," but that's not really accurate. Technically I'm Jewish, though I don't practice, I do support the Jewish faith and struggle, etc.

I like the idea of Balance in the Universe; The Force, Tao/Daoism, Buddhaism, whatever you want to call it. I like to believe that there is Good and Bad in the Universe, and it exists in balance and harmony, and when it gets out of balance, that's when things start to get crazy.

My thoughts on Politics:

Politics, shmolotics. I believe in Freedom, and what is best for the PEOPLE. Though it is hard to exist without politics.

Ok, ok, so I'm TECHNICALLY a Democrat. But it doesn't bother me, I don't really give much thought to politics to be honest with you.

My thoughts on Pets:

I love animals! I had a dog for a LONG time, a VERY long time. He was like...17, 18, 19 years old. Phred. Most of my life I remember having him...but I probably got him when I was like, 9 or 10. He was my dad's dog (since Dad was the Alpha), but I always called him my dog.

Yes it is in the past tense. We were forced to say goodbye to Phred just over a year ago, after he became seriously ill. Well...he was supposed to die like two or three years prior to that, but with some medicine and love, he hung on. It was like a miracle! But he started to get worse about two years ago, and eventually he just couldn't really like...live. It wasn't fair. And then he got a significant infection on his head, and there was no way to heal it. I wasn't home, but my parents told me.

He was my first, and so far, only pet, and he was my brother. I will always love him.

My thoughts on Alcohol:

Social Drinker...not opposed to it, just don't do it that often. Maybe I just need to get out and party more...though as a teacher it gets hard.

My thoughts on Diet:

Keeping good eating habits is essential...though I don't always follow it...how come the best tasting foods are always the worst for you?!

My thoughts on Drugs:

Are we talking legal or illegal? Legal drugs are very useful. Illegal drugs (or legal drugs abused) are strictly opposed...and stupid.
Except for one. If you smoke pot, I don't have a problem with it, as long as it's not like...an addiction.

My thoughts on Hygiene:

Hygiene is Mandatory! Failure to keep good hygiene is treasonous! (Bonus points if you can tell me where that's from!)

Yeah, you need good hygiene. I try my best to keep it; showers every day...though probably be a LOT more enjoyable with some good-looking company ;) you know, to wash those hard-to-reach places.

just an enid looking for my seymour....

i usually put this on other sites, but not a lot of people get it. if you get it, then you bonus points. i refuse to use capital letters unless it's something important like a paper for school. i'm currently going to school for journalism and work part time in a bakery. i love to talk about music, books, art, and movies. i also love to play video games and currently own a ps3 and xbox as well as my first nintendo, snes, and n64. just would love to find someone to be awesome and spontaneous with.
