We hold to the belief that
anyone who doesn't fit the traditional mold of what is cool could be a geek. We do not limit ourselves
to the Sci-Fi fans or the computer whiz kids. Geek is a description of any individual who is defined by intellect
rather than conformity.
What if I'm not a geek?
You don’t have to be a geek....you just need to be a geekophile.
What if I'm a nerd, dork or spaz?
All of those things are subsets of general geekdom and all are welcome...all are welcome.
Is this site for me?
If you think you are, or might be, a geek or you think you might want to meet one, then this site is for you.
We're looking to attract people from all walks of geekdom who want to look for love outside of the traditional dating
box. So whether you're into computers, arts, music, drama or any other intellectual niche we've got a place for you.
How is this site better than other dating sites?
Good question!
First and foremost, we provide a unique format that allows you to really showcase your personality. Let's face it,
when you're looking for a match, in part, you're really trying to sell yourself. We give you a way to do this
that's easy, attractive and really lets the world know who you are. This gives potential friends or matches
insight into your personality well beyond the answers in your profile questionnaire. You can customize your profile page
with colors, fonts, images, etc... from one of our easy to use themes or create your own custom space using HTML and CSS.
Second, we can help you enhance your profile page with your own Blog (w/RSS feeds), photo and movie galleries,
links to pages our side of our site and other additions that you just won't find on other dating sites.
Third, we have all the other things you'd expect from an on-line dating site: anonymous email, anonymous Chat, an extensive
personality profile and the ability to search for matches based upon where they live, what they answered in their questionnaires
and what they've written about themselves.
And last but not least, we cater to the disenfranchised of the dating world. There are oodles of us out there that are
highly valuable and underappreciated. At Sweet on Geeks you can be yourself and be loved for it.

What we won't do?
We don't try to pretend that we're experts at relationship match ups. We've put a lot of time and effort into creating
a site that allows you to showcase yourself in a thorough and interesting way. It's up to you to be safe, be smart and
look for the qualities in others that interest you. We do, however, provide a reporting system, so that you can let
us know should you encounter any creepy people who behave in an unsafe, insulting or disrespectful way. We reserve the right
to decide what defines these behaviors.

How do I join?
On our homepage you will see a Join Now For Free in the upper left hand corner. Click on that and follow the instructions.
What does it cost?
Nothing, zippo, nada. Put away your credit card.
Why is it so cheap?
Why should we bleed our members dry just to find love. It’s hard to make the decision to put yourself out there so why complicate matters by charging so that it becomes THAT much harder.
Do you have different membership levels?
We have one level ~ the Tritanium Level. For five dollars a month you have full access to the site. If you choose not to subscribe then you can still view the entire site but your email tools will not be available. “Tiered” membership levels are silly.
Is the site really free?
Yup, you asked for it, you got it. Totally Free.
How do I delete my profile?
You can click the 'Delete Profile' link at the bottom of the member pages or click 'Delete Profile' from you Account page.
Can I hide my profile if I want?
You can hide your profile by clicking the 'Hide Profile' button on you member main page.
How do I customize my profile's look?
Once you on in the interior of the site go the the “My Home” which is always present in the upper left corner of the page. That is your member home page. Click on “customize profile” button. Then you can enter use CSS or HTML to pimp your profile. Most My Space customization will be compatible. You can also embed videos, images or other external content within your profile. If you would like to add your external blog you can cute and paste the URL there.
How do I customize my profile questions?
When you are filling out your profile questions for the first time OR editing them after they are complete you will see a “Add my Own Q&A” button at the top of each profile questionnaire section. This feature allows you to write your own questions and answers. Hit the save button frequently when manipulating any section of your profile.
Can I add my Blog to my profile?
Yes, go your member home page and click on the customize button. In that section you can enter your Blog’s URL.

No. BUT if you offend we will. We reserve the right to define what is and is not offensive. Don’t be a hater or a bully or super creepy.

Is there a limit to the number of emails I can send in a day?
You can only email up to twenty different people in a day. You can email those twenty people as much as you like....but only twenty different usernames on any given day.
Can other people view my friends list?
Nope. It's private.
